Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is giving up one of his numerous internet titles. Earlier this week, Hopper released 2021's Instagram's Richlist. The Instagram Richlist is a compilation of the biggest names in Hollywood who have massive followings and earn money via their posts.

Usually, celebrities and influencers are paid to advertise a product or service on their social media pages. Depending on what each celeb earns per post, a list was compiled to reveal the big earners in the industry.

In the new 2021 Instagram Richlist,  Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was dethroned from the top spot. In 2020's list, the "Jumanji" actor was number 1, earning $1,015,000 per post shared with his 225 million followers. However, he has since been displaced.

Although Dwayne has since increased his earning to $1,523,000 and now has 289 million followers, someone else is running the show. This year football legend Cristiano Ronaldo is taking the lead.

CR7, as he is famously called, earns $1,604,000 per post and 388 million followers, making him the highest-paid celebrity on Instagram. Another change from last year's list is Kylie Jenner's position.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder was number 2 in 2020, closely behind The Rock with 223 followers and earning $986,000 per post. However, in 2021, Kylie was pushed down to number 4, earning $1,494,000 and boasting 299 million followers. The newcomer in the top 4  was singer Ariana Grande, who earns $1,510,000 and has 289 million followers.

The Rock Won't Run For President

Even though Dwayne has dropped to the number 2 spot on Instagram's Richlist, his immense influence on the public hasn't diminished in any way.

According to an April 2021 poll conducted among 30,000 candidates, 46% were rooting for the "Red Notice" star to become the next President of the United States of America.

Following the news of the polls, Dwayne teased the possibility of becoming the next commander-in-chief in a humorous tweet that read,

I don't think our Founding Fathers EVER envisioned a six-four, bald, tattooed, half-Black, half-Samoan, tequila drinking, pick-up truck driving, fanny pack-wearing guy joining their club — but if it ever happens, it'd be my honor to serve you, the people.

However, he didn't truly touch on the subject until a December interview with CNN. Dwayne revealed that he didn't think he was in the best position to be the president as he doesn't have any "politician gene in my DNA."

"I feel the best position I can be in right now is to be a trusted, nonjudgmental place for people," Dwayne declared.
