Actress Ming-Na Wen is remembering the time she met late comedian Bob Saget.

The “Full House” actor was found deceased in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Saget was only 65 years old. Authorities do not believe that foul play or drug use was a factor in the comedian’s death. An autopsy is currently underway to identify a cause of death.

On Monday, the “Book of Boba Fett” actress took to Instagram to recall what it was like when she met Bob Saget.

On Monday, the Disney princess voice actress posted a touching tribute to the late “How I Met Your Mother” actor.

“Shocking news yesterday,” Wen began. “I’ve just been reading all the beautiful tributes to Bob Saget. So many repeated comments that Bob was the funniest, the kindest, the sweetest, the best friend. How many lives he’s impacted in such positive ways.”

“I remember coming out to Hollywood right after ‘The Joy Luck Club,’” she continued.

“I met Bob through mutual friends,” she shared. “I believe it was @jonnysilverman when we worked on ‘The Single Guy.’ It seemed like everyone knew Bob. The world knew him as TV’s lovable innocent dad, but I had the pleasure of seeing the wicked sense of humor he had!”

“It was always fun to hang around him and share laughs,” she added. “I only knew him in social circles and Hollywood events, but he always greeted me like a good friend. Even though I was a freshman and he was the big man on campus. I will never forget his generous heart.”

“He was certainly beloved and will be missed,” she concluded. “My heart goes out to his family, friends and fans for their sudden and painful loss. RIP, Bob. Another angel has earned his wings.”

Many fans commented on the post, thanking Wen for her “beautiful” tribute.

“Yes, this was certainly unexpected, especially considering he wasn’t known for living a wild life,” another added. “He was a staple in my household as a kid with “Full House”, and in interviews, he was just as pleasant. I got to see some of his early stand up material years later, and yes, he did have a rather unique sense of humor.”

Mark Hamill Says He Is ‘Angry’ Over The Death Of Bob Saget

“Star Wars” star Mark Hamill, best known for playing Jedi Luke Skywalker, took to Twitter to express his condolences for Saget. On Monday morning, the 70-year-old actor tweeted, “Such awful news, I’m struggling to process it. Angry he is gone so soon, but very grateful for his lifetime of laughs. #RIPBobSaget.”

“So very beautifully, said, Mark,” one fan commented. “When I saw the news about his death, I was completely shocked. ‘Gone too soon,’ as you say, but ‘grateful for his lifetime of laughs.’”
