An autopsy is underway on the body of Bob Saget, which will help determine the comedian's official cause of death.
According to multiple reports, the 'Full House' star was transferred to the Orange County, Florida Medical Examiner's Officer where they will perform an examination. During the autopsy, doctors will take samples and conduct a full toxicology report on him to determine what caused his death.
The 'Full House' star was found unconscious inside the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, Florida by hotel security after failing to check out of the room. At this point, authorities say they don't believe "foul play" or "drug use" had anything to do with his passing. In other words, officers initially found no injuries on Bob's body or obvious drug use that would point towards an overdose or anything connected to wrongdoing.
Authorities Performing Toxicology Test To Determine Cause Of Death
"Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case," a spokesperson for the Sheriff's Department said.
Saget was reportedly found unresponsive in his hotel room after staying at the hotel for several days and arranging for a late check-out at 3 pm on the final day. After missing the check-out time, a housekeeping crew went into his room and found him passed away in his bed. There were no signs of any issues, and his bags were packed by the door. Apparently, a housekeeping manager attempted to perform CPR on him after calling 911, but paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Unfortunately, toxicology tests and other autopsy tests can take weeks to complete and it's unclear if an initial cause of death will be able to be determined anytime soon.
As we reported, Bob Saget showed NO signs of being in bad health in the weeks leading up to his death. Just hours before his passing, the 65-year 0ld comedian performed a 2-hour show inside the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in nearby Jacksonville, Florida. "Loved tonight's show in Jacksonville," Saget tweeted following the show. Adding, "I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I'm happily addicted again to this s---."

'Full House' Star NOT Sick In The Days Before His Death
It should be noted, during the height of the COVID pandemic, the late comedian launched his own podcast 'Bob Saget's Here For You,' and has recently announced a new partnership that would be taking it to the next level. "I’ve loved doing my podcast since it began a year ago in March. Being with ATC will allow me to grow it rapidly, as they themselves are growing rapidly, and allow me to be able to focus on Comedy even more, which is something I am certain the world needs a great deal more of," he said.
