Now, Chip and Joanna are delving into new waters via their partnership with Discovery Inc to rebrand the Magnolia Network. This venture will see them bring more offerings to fans who have stayed over the years.
In the meantime, Chip has opened to fans on the purpose of the rebranding and what they should expect from the network. Read below for more details.
What Fans Should Expect From The Magnolia Network
Chip and Joanna made their names from hosting "Fixer Upper," where they revamped residences around their hometown of Waco, Texas. Now, they are embarking on using the Magnolia network to bring to fans prime reality content that will better the bond in families and improve the positivity in the life of their viewers.
In an interview with Variety, Chip gave insight to fans on what the brand is all about and what fans should expect.
"We want you to come to spend your time with us and leave refreshed, encouraged, and really, sincerely feeling like that was time well spent," Chip said.
"I learned something, I engaged in a way that I was inspired, [and] I was encouraged. And those are our passions; we want to give that opportunity to anybody willing to spend the time with us."
The Tv personality continued, "We want that investment to pay dividends…What we do is not 'Keeping up With the Joneses.' We're not trying to create this opportunity for you to compare your lives to our lives. What we're hoping to do is to light a fire so that you can go out and create the life that you should live. And that's the bottom line for us."
Chip and Joanna Gaines Have Plans To Give Viewers Good Stories On Magnolia
To fulfill their goals of wanting viewers to feel refreshed while watching the shows on the network, Chip and Joanna have long charted their mission path. Ultimately, it involves telling good stories that would inspire the viewers in all ramifications,
"From the beginning, our aim for Magnolia Network has been to tell good stories. Stories that bring us together to inspire and encourage us all - to try something new. Stories that are told in ways that feel authentic," Chip and Joanna said in a joint statement.

And while the couple's plans might have gone through some tweaks over time, they still want to give the people value for their time spent. Chip and Joanna have a lot for viewers, and they are just getting started.
Magnolia Network Premiere Got Delayed By The Pandemic
Chip and Joanna initially planned to launch the network in the summer of 2020. However, the schedule hit a few road bumps - which pushed the airing date till October. Unfortunately, the widespread pandemic also came along, shutting down all means to create the necessary tv content due to the lockdown.
In hindsight, Joanna believes the obstacles and delays helped make better preparations for its recent launch.
"It's January. It's a new year. Just the message of hope and inspiration from these storytellers and the stories that they are telling," Joanna said on Good Morning America
"The world is ready for that kind of beauty to be seen."
What Is The Magnolia Network Offerings?
Although the Magnolia network is taking on a different direction when compared with DIY(previous name), fans should still expect a lot of old faces alongside the new ones.
In addition to Chip and Joanna themselves, another famous personality starring on the platform is Bizarre Foods' Andrew Zimmern, host of the new series Family Dinner.
