“Full House” star Bob Saget passed away yesterday on Sunday, January 9, 2022.

Police responded to a call of an unresponsive man located in his room at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, Florida. Police found the 65-year-old stand-up comedian deceased in his room.

The cause of death has not been disclosed, but police do not suspect foul play or drug use was a factor in his death.

Many actors, friends, fans, and colleagues took to social media to express their condolences. So did “Star Wars” star Mark Hamill, who was still “struggling to process it.”

Early on Monday morning, the 70-year-old actor tweeted, “Such awful news, I'm struggling to process it. Angry he is gone so soon, but very grateful for his lifetime of laughs. #RIPBobSaget”

Many fans and friends commiserated about his passing. “I’m so heartbroken about this,” Sarah O’Connell commented. “Bob kindly came onto my show last August and I had the opportunity to celebrate him and his career. He was so funny, kind, and talented.”

“So very beautifully, said, Mark,” another fan shared. “When I saw the news about his death, I was completely shocked. ‘Gone too soon,’ as you say, but ‘grateful for his lifetime of laughs.’”

“A whole generation grew up watching him as our TV dad,” another added. “This one hits hard.”
