The iconic action star shared a heartwarming video where he wished everyone a happy New Year of the Ox on February 10. He acknowledged that many of his fans celebrated the new year on January 1 but he wanted to wish everyone around the world well ahead of the Chinese New Year on February 12. Chan's video was filled with traditional Chinese New Year graphics as he addressed his adoring fans.

"How time flies, it's already February 2021," Jackie stated. "For us Chinese, we are about to celebrate our most important festival of the year."

Jackie then expressed his understanding that last year was very difficult for people all over the world.

"2020 has been tough year surrounded with isolation," he continued. "I sincerely wish in the coming New Year the world will be back to harmony. Creating peace and love is our effort. Have faith."

Jackie is a huge star in America, so you can only imagine what a legend he is in his home country of China. Chan appeared on the Shandong Satellite Television’s Spring Festival program on February 9, where he got behind the mic and sang the song, “Nan’er Dang Zi Qiang.”

We couldn't understand a word he sang but it sounded pretty good to us! He was surrounded by dancers in traditional Chinese garb but Chan just focused on hitting those high notes!

As we previously mentioned, Chan does not post on social media that often. However, he takes to the powerful platforms when he is forced to clear up misconceptions about himself of his companies. He often posts when rumors of his death start to circulate (it happens more often than you think) but the last post he shared before his New Year video was a statement by his lawyers. Jackie and his legal team had to set the record straight when scammers claimed to be affiliated with the 63-year-old star.
