On Monday, The Weeknd confirmed that his fifth studio album, "Dawn FM," will officially be out on January 7. This came in the midst of rumors that he considered a January 3 release, after a cryptic tweet.
The Canadian superstar released several trailers for Dawn FM, and one featured legendary actor, Jim Carrey. Carrey was narrating the visuals, and also reposted the trailer to his Twitter feed. It was there that Carrey also revealed that he listened to the entire Dawn FM album on Monday night.
"I listened to Dawn FM with my good friend Abel @theweeknd last night," said Carrey on Twitter. "It was deep and elegant and it danced me around the room. I’m thrilled to play a part in his symphony. ;^•"

The Weeknd Saw Success With 'Take My Breath' Single
The lead single for "Dawn FM" is "Take My Breath," which was released back in August. This went on to be another huge hit for The Weeknd, as it debuted at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The release of "Take My Breath" also came in the middle of a 2021 year, where Weeknd's 2020 "After Hours" album was still posting historic numbers, and had two number one singles on it. That year also included Weeknd performing at the Super Bowl, in Tampa.
