Last June, The Blast reported that the singer-turned swimmer showed up for Australia's Olympic Swimming trials with his girlfriend and model Marloes Stevens.

The lovebirds appeared excited as they sat side by side at the event, proudly cheering for the competitors, including defending 400m gold medalist Mack Horton.

Cody had been training with former Australian Olympian Brett Hawke to compete in the Men's 100m Butterfly, scheduled for that month.

The "Pretty Brown Eyes" singer's dedication towards this goal was intense as he changed his diet and workout routine.

Although the blonde Apollo worked 24/7 to join the Olympics, The Blast previously revealed that the athlete took time off to have fun with his friends.

"The Masked Singer Australia" winner scared fans on Instagram after sharing an unbelievable video in which he allowed Anthony "Showtime" Pettis, a former UFC champion, to kick a bottle off of his head.

Cody proved his nerves were made of steel as he stood perfectly still while Pettis performed an impressive karate kick that could have given the singer a concussion if it went wrong.
