Lala Kent opened up about the financial security measures she took in preparation for her marriage, though she needs them no more.
Kent and Randall Emmett are no longer fiance and fiancee. The two parted ways after filming the latest season of “Vanderpump Rules.”
It turns out the socialite planned to get a prenup after getting engaged to the “Midnight In The Switchgrass” actor.
Lala Kent Prepared A Prenup Ahead Of Marriage To Ex-Fiance
On Tuesday, January 4, Kent and her “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Scheana Shay sat down to talk about Shay’s upcoming wedding to Brock Davies, PEOPLE reported.
The bride-to-be said she got a prenup done, waiting to be notarized. She never planned to get a prenup, but things changed after losing half of her money to ex-husband Michael Shay.
The “Trauma Center” actress explained that she is “all about a plan B,” and Shay made an intelligent move by following suit.
The founder of the “Give Them Lala Beauty” said that her co-star was a bit taken aback when she first told her about her prenup.
Shay responded that she thought prenups take the fun away from relationships because people should be marrying who they trust would never come for them.
Nevertheless, Kent stayed unswayed about her belief that a prenup is the best decision for people entering into a marriage.
The “Hard Kill” actress noted that people show their true colors when things get sticky, so something “clear and cut and dry” is needed to help people separate funds and “go away.”
The “American Traitor” Actress Grateful To Randall Emmett’s Mistresses
Following the images that surfaced of Emmett and two unnamed women online and his subsequent breakup with Kent, the ex-fiancee opened up about their split.
The Blast reported last week that Kent confirmed to Page Six that her romance with her “The Row” co-star was “based on nothing but lies.”
The “Give Them Lala” author also knew the evidence of Emmett’s infidelity existed, including messages he sent to his mistresses and social media photos of his affairs.
Following the surfaced images of her ex-fiance and two women in Nashville, Kent removed herself and their nine-month-old daughter Ocean from their home.
Kent expressed that she will forever be grateful to Emmett’s two unknown Nashville mistresses because they saved her from a marriage to him.
The “Vanderpump Rules” Star Says Ex-Fiance’s Diamond Ring Is Fake
Just when you think you have had it with the many allegations against Kent’s ex-fiance, the star revealed more shocking details about their relationship.
The Blast shared in December that the “Out of Death” actress confirmed that the engagement ring she got from her ex was not worth the rumored $150,000 price tag.
The reality personality held back tears while telling the story behind the 6-carat round-cut diamond she had been wearing since 2018 on her “Give Them Lala” podcast.
Following a conversation between Emmett and her mother about how “rappers take sh—y diamonds and make them pretty” and their October split, Kent got her ring tested.
It turns out what seemed to be a fancy diamond was “most likely brown” and “treated by one or more processes to change its color,” according to the “Spree” actress’s jeweler.
