Following the October split, Lala took the ring to a "highly recommended" jeweler who found the GIA certification of the stone, who confirmed it as a gem that had been "treated by one or more processes to change its color."

Shockingly, the jeweler told the reality star that the diamond "was most likely brown" before its treatment, making it worth far less money. In a stunning revelation, the original price tag of the ring ($150,000) -- is actually more likely in the "teens" of thousands.
