Actress Abigail Breslin is slamming an online troll who took a shot at her late father, calling him "weak" after dying from complications of COVID-19.
The 'Little Miss Sunshine' star shared a conversation with a person on Instagram, who was giving her heat for wearing a mask on a theme-park ride in Las Vegas. After posting the picture, a troll commented "Who's the pathetic loser wearing a mask?" Abigail responded swiftly to the comment, saying, "That pathetic loser would be me, someone who lost their dad due to someone not wearing a mask and giving him Covid," adding, "You can kindly go f--- off now."
As we reported, Breslin's 78-year-old father died on February 26, 2021, after catching the deadly virus.

"At 6:32 PM EST, my sweet, perfect, amazing, heroic, wonderful dada passed away after my family and I said goodbye. It was COVID-19 that cut my sweet daddy's life too short, I appreciate more than you know, the love and support my family and I have received," she wrote at the time.
In a separate post, Abigail exposed the same individual who was arguing with her fans in the comment section of Instagram. One person wrote, "You don't know her and you didn't know him. If you want to not wear a mask and find out, be my guest. But you will NOT talk about him that way. Period. Actual human garbage. One day, when you lose someone, I hope people show you more grace than you quite frankly deserve."
The online troll responded, saying, "I'm pretty sure wearing a mask isn't going to save anyone's life lol. Clearly, I know more than her if she thinks someone who wasn't wearing a mask killed her father when in reality he was weak."

Breslin posted the comments publically, calling out the person saying, "would love if you could all report this [the IG account] person. To say my dad died because he was “weak” is something I will not tolerate."
Fans flooded social media and started reporting the person to Instagram, with one person responding, "Reported and I’m so sorry there are people who hide behind a screen saying mean things. Your Father, I didn’t know him but he was brave. How do I know? He raised you ♥️ and you’re brave too."
This isn't the first time the actress has defended wearing a mask in public following her father's hospitalization. As we reported, Abigail's father was placed on a ventilator shortly after being hospitalized, and she publically stated, "This is me saying that if you asked my dad: a mask is FAR LESS uncomfortable than a ventilator." Adding, "So stfu. And wear your damn mask. Please."
Abigail Breslin Celebrates Christmas For First Time Without Her Dad
In the past few weeks, the actress shared an emotional note about celebrating Christmas for the first time without her father, saying, "My first holiday season sans my dad, I love the holiday season and I'm so thankful I get to spend it with my mom, my brothers, my friends, and my boyfriend… I'm truly blessed."
It's unclear if the statements would cause Instagram to suspend or take action against the person who called her father "weak."
