Leo DiCaprio's new movie, 'Don't Look Up,' contains one of the greatest easter eggs of all time, and it just so happens to be a little X-Rated!
The new Netflix dark comedy is based on scientists who are working on a "planet killer" asteroid that is crashing towards the earth. In the movie, Leo plays astronomer Randall Mindy, and it's said to be an allegory for climate change.
As for the egg, fans discovered that when DiCaprio delivers a public service announcement after discovering the apocalyptic asteroid, he directs the county to call a 'FEMA' hotline, saying, "Right now, millions of you are having these same doubts and questions about the approaching comet." Adding, "That is why BASH Cellular, in conjunction with the United States government, is creating a new hotline, free of charge, to answer all of your questions. And who knows: Maybe, just maybe, one of our scientists … can be that friend we all need to lean on during uncertain times.”

In the film, the scientist stammers through the difficult message, urging Americans to call --- 1-800-532-4500 -- if they are seeking "peace of mind" after learning of their fate. Plus, an offscreen voice can be heard saying, "Call 1-800-532-4500 for peace of mind. Offer only available to BASH customers. Details of your call may be shared with other subsidiaries to enhance your future customer experience. Data and roaming charges apply.”
Of course, several fans dialed the number off of the screen and got a phone sex operation instead. It's hilarious! If you call, which we don't suggest you do, an automated service comes on the line and says, "Welcome to America’s hottest hotline. Guys, hot ladies are waiting to talk to you. Press 1 now. Ladies, to talk to interesting and exciting guys, press 2 to connect free now."

At this point, the A-list actor nor the director of the film has commented on the amazing Easter egg, but we are guessing they knew exactly what they were doing on this one!
According to reports, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrencepulled in HUGE salaries for the Netflix film, reportedly worth $55 million combined. According to Variety, Leo raked in $30 million, and JLaw got around $25 million. It should be noted, the cast is packed with huge stars including, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Rob Morgan, Ron Perlman, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi, Mark Rylance, and Cate Blanchet.
The bottom line, the film is great, and the Easter Egg is even better!
