Katie Price has finally opened up about her "traumatic" substance-induced car crash!
Last December, the former glamor model narrowly escaped jail time after flipping her vehicle while driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
The 43-year-old discussed the tragic incident on "Good Morning Britain," which marked her first TV appearance since receiving a suspended jail sentence.
Katie Price Feels "Ashamed" Of Her Irresponsible Actions
On Tuesday, January 4, the "Katie & Peter" star appeared virtually for the interview alongside her eldest son, Harvey. The pair sat side by side as the mother-of-five recalled the terrible car crash.
Regarding the incident, the "Angel" author stated that the events leading to and after the crash were "traumatic" and difficult to discuss.
Although the "Eurovision Song Contest" alum wasn't ready to share her pain with the world, the 43-year-old revealed she would be getting help from a therapist.
Price emphasized that she was indeed "ashamed" about the substance-induced ordeal. However, the former model believed people shouldn't judge her without knowing the whole story.

The "Angel Uncovered" author wasn't dwelling on the tragic incident as she proudly declared 2022 as a fresh start with zero drama. In her words:
"2022 is my year, 22 is my lucky number. My birthday. The main box on Deal or No Deal. This has to be my year of no dramas.".
Aside from her drunken mistake, the "Signed by Katie Price" star took a moment to promote her new book "Harvey And Me," centered around the mother and son's relationship.
The mother-of-five also gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the interview by sharing a picture of herself posing beside Harvey on Instagram.
The pair were dressed casually with Katie in a long-sleeved pink top paired with ripped jeans while her son wore a colorful top on black trousers. This sweet image was captioned, "GMB with Harv this morning 💖"
The "Being Jordan" Author Cleared The Air About Her Engagement To Carl Woods
Last December, The Blast reported that rumors claimed Price's family was allegedly not supporting the reality TV star's engagement to Carl Woods.
However, the mother-of-five squashed these allegations on her Instagram stories by calling out the tabloids responsible for spreading false truths about her relationship.
The news outlet in question claimed that the "What Katie Did Next" star was on the outs with her family over her engagement, and the proof of their quarrels was seen in an Instagram post.
In the cited post, the TV personality stated that social media negatively influenced relationships as it created "jealousy and envy over non-existent things."
The tabloid implied that this cryptic message hinted at the author's family's disapproval of her relationship with Woods. This assumption was far from the truth as per Price's Instagram stories.
The 43-year-old uploaded a screenshot of the offensive news article alongside a clear message expressing her disappointment in their "bad journalism."
The former glamor girl stated that her family didn't disapprove of her fiance or their relationship, and there had never been any hints about such a problem.
