Singer Britney Spears has a new message for her fans.
On Monday afternoon, Britney shared an inspiring message to her fans on Instagram, saying, “Make People Feel Good About Themselves.”
“Always make people feel good about themselves … I mean always !!!!” she wrote beside the photo.
“Dig real deep down in that heart of yours and make sure you make them feel just as GOOD AS THEY MADE YOU FEEL !!!! I mean it’s the least you can do !!!!” she added.
Fans absolutely loved the message of positivity, with one fan writing, “LOVE this. Great message for 2022.”
“Yes Queen B! It costs nothing to be kind,” another wrote. “You might just save somebody today.”
‘2021 Tried Its Hardest… Bless Its Heart’
She also posted a black and white photo of a girl in pigtails flipping off the camera while sticking her tongue out to her Instagram page on Monday afternoon.
“Psss let’s watch what we say to our years …,” she said in another post. “2021 tried its hardest … bless it’s heart?????????? Why no … it’s more like be careful 2022 doesn’t show up and bite us all in the a-- and leave saying bless your hearts !!!!! Be safe … healthy … and kind my friends ... our world needs it.”
She also indicated that she might end up trying her hand at gardening.
“Anyways … maybe to save peace this year I will get in my garden and those efforts wont be considered TRYING at all !!! NOT … more like DYING!!!!” she continued. “Naaaahhhhh I’d rather TRY and be annoying and live and disturb the peace !!!”
Britney: ‘That’s Exactly What I Did At 12’
Britney also talked about an awkward encounter she had with a friend’s daughter when the young girl asked her to cook her lunch.
“It’s always a different conversation when you go to make your girlfriends daughter a sandwich in the middle of the day and she sweetly suggests no cheese !!!!” she began.
“I asked why she spoke about the calorie count … I couldn’t believe it cause that’s exactly what I did at 12 when I started watching my weight but then when your girlfriend walks in and you explain the situation she screams at you so freaking loud in front of her daughter and places all the silverware down so she can do so !!!!” she continued.
“She says ‘How dare you insinuate my daughter has a eating disorder?’ … uhhhhhh I never even said that at all but geez 🙄 !!!!” she added, although she never did indicate whether or not the young girl ever received her sandwich.
However, fans seemed to have the singer’s back, with one fan writing, “Actually, you did the right thing bringing that up. Too bad your friend couldn’t appreciate your insight.”
“Kids shouldn’t be worried about calories,” another agreed.
“It’s probably the mom putting those thoughts in the daughters head,” another wrote. “It’s so common.”
“Yeah, she’s projecting her own failures on Britney,” another commented.
“I want a sandwich made by Britney Spears,” another joked. “Extra cheese hunny.”
Others wondered if it was a dig at sister Jamie Lynn, who Spears recently unfollowed from Instagram.
