"Real Housewives of Potomac" star Monique Samuels says she will not be returning to the Bravo show for another season.
After part three of the reunion aired, Monique took to social media to make the bombshell revelation.
She spoke to the camera, “So, I appreciate everything that people have done for me. Everybody that has been Team Monique, I love y’all. I thank y’all. But when you cross certain lines, there is no going back. And for me, my family is that line.
She ended, "And the opinion of my family and my kids, and what they think of anything I do, is more valuable to me than anybody’s opinion. So I’m over it. Love y’all too.."
Fans have been losing their mind on social media after Monique made her announcement. One person wrote, "I literally can’t take the intensity. It’s too much. Now we can move forward."
Another was taken aback by the news writing, "Noooooo ? I will miss you and your wonderful family ❤️."
The news is surprising given Monique just announced her contract was renewed by Bravo this week. Earlier this week, Monique was talking to her fans on Instagram when one asked whether she had heard the rumors of her being fired. The fan wrote, "There are rumors about you being fired, are you allowed to talk about that. my understanding is that contracts have not been sent out yet. if you gone, I am gone."
Monique shut down the rumor saying, "contracts have been sent out and that rumor is not true."
Candiace Dillard, who was attacked by Monique this season, publicly said she will not shoot a single scene with her if she was brought back for another go.
. During a recent podcast, Candiace said, “I will not film with her, I will not work with her — I, for my mental health, cannot be around someone who is doing a music video to promote the song bragging about fighting me."
Monique has been having a rough couple of weeks.
As The Blast previously reported, Monique is currently going back and forth with Gizelle Bryant's ex-husband/current boyfriend, Jamal Bryant. On the reunion show, Monique accused Jamal of cheating on Gizelle with another woman. She pulled out a binder of alleged text screenshots of an exchange between Jamal and the alleged mistress.
Jamal reportedly fired off a cease and desist to Monique demanding an apology and a retraction of her statements. Monique has refused to apologize and said she has proof to back up her claims.
