“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Monique Samuels reported will be returning for another season on the Bravo reality show despite her co-star Candiace Dillard refusing to film with her.
Recently, Monique was talking to her fans on social media when asked whether she had heard about her contract being renewed for another-go. She was asked, “There are rumors about you being fired, are you allowed to talk about that. my understanding is that contracts have not been sent out yet. if you gone, I am gone.”
The “RHOP” star told the fan, “contracts have been sent out and that rumor is not true.” She is letting everyone know despite all the drama this year she will still be one of the stars on the reality show.
One fan wasn’t impressed writing, “If they let Monique back, it’s only a matter of time before she snaps again and gets physical. Mark my words ??♂️”
The remark is referring to the infamous fight between Monique and Candiace this season.
The fight had Monique grabbing Candiace by the hair and pulling it. Candiace filed a police report over the incident and Monique filed a counterclaim against Candiace. The police ended up not moving forward with any criminal charges against the other.
Candiace has repeatedly said she will not come back or film another scene with Monique. During a recent podcast, Candiace said, “I will not film with her, I will not work with her — I, for my mental health, cannot be around someone who is doing a music video to promote the song bragging about fighting me.”
Candiace is referencing the music video Monique is releasing for her song “Drag Queens.” The track is a reference to the fight between the two.
It’s possible the producers are able to have the two film their scenes separately but who really wants to see that. In the past, Gizelle Bryant has said she doesn’t want to film with Monique either.
The day after Christmas, Monique was on social media being extra messy. She posted an old video of Candiace talking to fans about Monique’s claim her costars teamed up against her.
All this comes as Monique is fighting Gizelle’s current boyfriend/ex-husband, Jamal Bryant, over claims she made about him on the reunion show.
On part one, Monique brought out a binder of alleged text screenshots between Jamal and another woman. She said Jamal was cheating on Gizelle with this woman and his relationship with her was only for show.
Jamal didn’t take lightly to the remarks and fired off a cease and desist to her demanding an apology. Monique is refusing to apologize claiming she has evidence to back up her claims.
