Kylie Jenner may have once gone by “King Kylie” on social media platforms, Vine and Snapchat, but now she’s somehow being compared to the late, great Princess Diana.
It’s a weird world we live in, but it is almost 2022, we are still going two years strong with the COVID-19 pandemic, so I guess this is just the “norm.”
Kylie's Being Compared To Princess Diana
On Thursday, December 30, “Kylie Jenner” began trending on Twitter, which isn’t really all that shocking.
She is getting ready to pop with baby number two, so one might suspect she was trending for that reason.
Turns out it isn’t.
While perusing Twitter, The Blast noticed “Kylie Jenner” and “Princess Diana” were being mentioned in the same tweet on multiple occasions.
One person tweeted, “King Kylie era is the closest thing America had to Princess Diana.”

This did not sit well with people and Twitter went off.
One person replied, “You’re kidding, right? How many plastic surgeries & procedures did Diana have to have to become famous & well known? Asking for a Friend.”
Another shot back, “SMH I can’t believe I am reading this crap first thing this morning. THEY ARE NOTHING ALIKE.”
“Kylie is beautiful, but don’t compare her era to Princess Diana absolutely not,” another wrote.
Twitter Did Not Take Kindly To The Comparison
Others compared the “King Kylie” era to Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, who is Prince Charles’ new wife.
Another person noted that Diana had a “real face.”
“Imagine thinking a KarJenner snapchat is the f***ing equivalent of empathy and diplomacy that Diana tried to be ya’ll are killing me. Kylie has a lot of connecting to public to do if she ever wants to be adored like Diana,” an impassioned fan quipped.
And my personal fave, “I think the f**k not.”
"Diana Had A Real Face"
In recent months Kylie has been trending and making headlines for other reasons.
Back in early November, the cosmetics mogul’s boyfriend, Travis Scott, had the unthinkable happen at his Astroworld Fest in Texas.
On November 5, eight people were killed when the crowd rushed toward the stage causing a massive surge. Two additional attendees died from injuries sustained at the concert in the hospital.
Concertgoers were tragically trampled and crushed, but the rapper didn’t stop the show.
Travis claims he didn’t find out about the deadly surge until after the concert was over.
In the wake of everything multiple other lives were claimed in the hospital, and a plethora of lawsuits have been brought against the rapper, Drake and Live Nation.
Kylie came under fire on the night of the concert for posting photos and videos of an ambulance making its way through the crowd.
She deleted the media from her Instagram Story shortly after the concert was over, but the damage to her reputation was done.
