On Wednesday, "The Book of Boba Fett" finally made its debut on Disney+!

Fans have been waiting quite a while to see the return of Temeura Morrison as bounty hunter Boba Fett and Ming-Na Wen as mercenary Fennec Shand from season 2 of the other hit "Star Wars" series, "The Mandalorian."

The show picks up where the closing scene of season 2 leaves off, with the unlikely duo returning to Tatooine to try to claim the territory that was once ruled by Jabba the Hutt.

Although the show has only debuted today, fans are already calling the new Boba Fett series “a dream come true.” But now that the show is finally out, what do fans think?

Early on Wednesday morning, fans couldn't help but notice that #TheBookofBobaFett was already trending. Many fans took to Twitter in order to share their reactions to the first episode.

“Tremendous start to The Book of @bobafett,” one fan tweeted. “I just wish the episode was longer.”

“Finished the first episode of #BookofBobaFett and I need more,” another tweeted. “Now. I won’t wait another week.”

“Good start to #BookofBobaFett,” another wrote. “I’m loving we getting some backstory.”

“#BobaFett is cool,” another wrote. “I do miss the invincibility of the Mandalorian though – like Lone Wolf and Cub – he was often outnumbered and rarely outgunned. Boba Fett gets beaten up a lot.”

“No spoilers but part of the opening montage to ‘The Book Of Boba Fett’ just about gave me a panic attack,” another teased.

“The first episode of Boba Fett was solid,” another tweeted. “It basically gave me what I want as far as an introduction to the series.”

“The Boba Fett show pilot was pretty good! Some fun stuff in it, felt like a tv episode mostly rather than a video game playthrough,” another fan wrote, adding, “I liked the prequel and OT nods. Lots of desert critters too.”

“VERY mild spoiler for Book of Boba Fett, but based on the way things unfold, I'm assuming the big bad (Ugh...can I just say main villain?) of the season is going to be Squamous Cell Carcinoma,” another fan joked, given how the show takes place on the planet of Tatooine, which is known for its twin suns.

“Loved episode 1, was great on the background of Boba…” another fan tweeted. “I just wish these episodes were 45 to 60 minutes long, not 35 minutes.”

One of the show's biggest criticisms so far is that fans want to see more of it, which sounds pretty good in our book! The current Rotten Tomatoes score for the series has an average Tomatometer score of 86% and an audience score of 77% at the time of this writing.

In comparison, “The Mandalorian” has an average Tomatometer score of 93% and an average audience score of 91%.

However, in all fairness to “The Book of Boba Fett,” the first episode did drop this morning and there are still plenty more episodes to go for fans to make up their minds.

New episodes of “The Book of Boba Fett” are available on Wednesdays on Disney+.
