Mahomes's Best Christmas Present As A Child

Still, on his radio interview, the hosts asked the 25-year-old the one Christmas present he always wanted as a child. He opened up and mentioned that he had always wanted a basketball goal and that when he got it, he used it for years after.

"My gift was a basketball goal. Santa ended up bringing it to me eventually. I used that thing literally my entire life until I broke it," he said. "It was an awesome gift [to get] and something I wanted for years … me and my buddy were at the house playing, and we were practicing half-court shots, and I threw the basketball, and it hit the backboard, and it broke the backboard. I think we got it replaced, but it took a long time."

Mahomes Said Spider-Man Would Beat Batman In A Fight

"Spider-Man: No Way Home" was released early this month, and it's on the tip of everyone's tongue. Hosts from The Drive asked Mahomes who he thought would win in a brawl between the Marvel superhero and Batman from DC.

In a fight, he mentioned that he thought Spider-Man would win solely because his real powers were superior to Batman's "gears and stuff." The quarterback admitted, "I'm going to say Spider-Man because he has real superpowers. Batman is just all different gear and stuff … But it would be a good fight for sure."

However, his choice may be a bit biased because the 25-year-old also admitted that he really liked marvel and that he had watched basically all the Marvel movies except "Spider-Man: No Way Home." He said, "I've watched them all; for the most part, I haven't watched Spider-Man yet, but I've watched every single one of them. I didn't watch all of them until Endgame and then watched some of the new ones as well. I'm a big Marvel guy, for sure."

Mahomes Likened His Christmas To The 'Four Christmases' Movie

According to Mahomes, his first Christmas with his fiancée, Matthews, was basically out of a rom-com. The quarterback appeared on KCSP 610 Sports Radio and said that his Christmas had a strong resemblance to the plot of "Four Christmases."

"Man, that was back in, like, high school," he said. "I had to go to her family's Christmas, she came to mine, everything like that. I think at that point; we'd been dating a couple of months. Just the normal, teenage kids showing up at the family dinner-type stuff and being nervous and everything."

He mentioned that he and Matthews reminded him of Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn in a comedy called "Four Christmases." The 2008 movie showed a couple visiting their various families on Christmas Day with many hitches on the way.

"It was almost like the movie' Four Christmases,' we had to go to each one of our family members' Christmas parties and continued the whole day of going from house to house and trying to make sure that we see everybody," he said.
