NBA Youngboy continues to be a superstar in 2020. His end of 2019 momentum kicked things off when he released his "AI Youngboy 2" album that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. 

In February, his "Still Flexin Still Steppin" mixtape debuted at No. 2, “38 Baby 2 " album debuted at No. 1, and his "Top" album in September also topped the chart. 

At this point, the Louisiana rapper is also labeled as one of the most consistent artists in the music industry.

Youngboy Still Believes He's In A 'Dark Place'

Despite Youngboy's massive success in 2020, he recently posted a video to social media where he explained that he still isn't happy. He will still try to keep pushing forward, though.

"I'm still in a dark place inside my life. I'm still hurtin' but I'm still always prayin' though."

Youngboy has frequently deleted his social media feeds throughout the year which is also a sign of the troubles that he is going through emotionally. This is often the case with his Instagram feed.

Youngboy Has Faced A Myriad Of Legal Issues In 2020

Despite Youngboy continuing to be one of the most successful artists, staying out of trouble has been very difficult for him. Last month, he was arrested on drugs charges after shooting a music video in his hometown of Baton Rouge, LA.  15 others were arrested at the scene. 14 guns along with $79,000 in cash were also seized. Youngboy's attorney, Jimmy Manasseh, told TMZ that Youngboy had no dangerous controlled substances on him.

Last month, Youngboy was also investigated for assault in Katy, TX. He and his crew allegedly attacked a man, put a bag on his head, pistol-whipped him, and threatened to put him in a body bag.

On November 6, Nicki Minaj and NBA Youngboy got together to appear on super producer Mike Will Made-It's "What That Speed Bout?!'"single and the reviews on social media were overwhelmingly positive. 

Fans were also impressed with the music video as currently, there are almost 8 million YouTube views. This video was shot before Minaj gave birth to her son last month. Minaj was working during her pregnancy for sure as she also shot the video for Tekashi 6ix9ine's "TROLLZ" single.

Youngboy Also Has Another Child On The Way With Yaya Mayweather

Last week, it was fully confirmed that Floyd Mayweather's daughter, Iyanna, aka Yaya, was pregnant with Youngboy's son after showing off her baby bump. She also threw a baby shower but it didn't appear that the rapper was in attendance. 

Youngboy will now supposedly be having his sixth child by the surprising age of 21. He continues to create hot records and No. 1 albums and he will definitely need this trend to continue to be able to support all of these children.
