'Selling Sunset' Star Chrishell Stause SPLITS With Co-Star Jason Oppenheim

 'Selling Sunset' Star Chrishell Stause has split with her co-star (and boss) Jason Oppenheim after just five months of dating.

The 'Netflix'stars just ended their whirlwind relationship after confirming they were an item back in July. As you know, Jason owns the Los Angeles real estate firm Oppenheim Group, and Stause works in the office. The multi-million dollar deals, along with the beautiful staff, are featured on the hit reality show -- Selling Sunset.

Over the summer, the reality stars were careful not to expose their budding relationship, and the actress opened up about trying to keep it from their friends. The couple was "really private and secretive for as long as we could until we realized the walls were closing in. People were getting a little savvy to it," she recalled. At the time, Stause says she avoided sharing details of their romance due to fear of other people's opinions influencing their new relationships.

Of course, some people questioned the relationship considering the work environment and dynamic, saying, "I just feel like the work/relationship dynamic, it's not as complicated as people would think because we were best friends before and we work together all the time. It just kind of felt easy."

At this point, it's unclear what split up the new couple -- expect you KNOW it's going to be discussed on the upcoming season of the show. Luckily for fans of the show, cameras are normally rolling for things like this...and a good breakup goes a long way! It's a bit shocking to SS fans considering Stause shared a video just two days ago, showing the two of them in a makeup trailer preparing to celebrate the end of filming season 5.

Oppenheim opened up about dating Chrishell over the summer, claiming their close friendship had "developed into an amazing relationship," adding, "I care about her deeply and we are very happy together."

In November, the happy couple was spotted spending part of their Thanksgiving holiday together -- serving hot meals to the homeless while volunteering at the Los Angeles Mission.

As we reported, Stause was previously married to 'This Is Us' star Justin Hartley, who she married back in 2017. According to reports, Hartley stunned his wife by ending their marriage via text message. The reality star recalled the shocking incident on an episode of 'Selling Sunset' saying, "He text me that we were filed," and "forty-five minutes later, the world knew."

"I talked to him right after because I thought that must be a joke," Stause says in the episode, adding, "But that was kind of the end of the communication."

In the end, Stause discussed having trouble finding a place to live, saying, "When I found out, I was minutes before leaving the house for work so I immediately just grabbed a few things and I just got out of there as fast as I could, I don't think I really knew where I was going or what I was going to do, but I just had to leave."

Now, we are guessing as a top realtor in L.A., she isn't going to have that problem anymore!
