Jennifer Lopez Denies Being PISSED About Ben Drama, 'It's Not How I Feel'

Jennifer Lopez is breaking her silence about the Ben Affleck- Jennifer Garner drama that plagued the media last week.

The doting girlfriend slammed all rumors that she was offended by her boyfriend's remarks about his former marriage.

In a rare interview with People Magazine, Lopez cleared the air about her thoughts towards her man's words. As you might know, Affleck received so much heat after he attributed his alcohol problems to his marriage.

The "Batman" actor during an appearance on "The Howard Stern Show" basically remarked that if he had stayed married to Garner, he never would have stopped drinking.

"We probably would've ended up at each other's throats. I probably still would've been drinking. Part of why I started drinking was because I was trapped," Affleck said.

The former celebrity couple was married for 13 years and welcomed three children before calling it quits in 2018. That same year, "The Last Duel" star went to rehab for alcohol addiction.

Following his remarks, the internet came hard on Affleck, accusing him of playing the victim despite being the cause of their breakup. He allegedly slept with their nanny.

As part of the outrage, a source revealed that Lopez was disappointed in her man for speaking about the mother of his kids in such a manner.

At the time, the source claimed the "Hustlers" actress didn't want to be embroiled in such controversy and felt unhappy. The insider declared, "[Lopez] is pissed. She is getting pulled into this because she is dating him. She doesn't want to be dragged into this. She has met Jennifer Garner. She is trying to get to know her and Ben's kids."

However, it seems that wasn't the case as Lopez is now affirmatively saying she wasn't at all pissed at her man. The 52-year-old told the publication:

This story is simply not true. It is not how I feel. I couldn't have more respect for Ben as a father, a co-parent, and a person.

The lovebirds rekindled their romance earlier this year, shortly after Lopez broke her engagement with former baseball player Alex Rodriguez. The duo was quite the power couple in the early 2000s.

In light of the vitriol from fans and the public, Affleck cleared the air about what he meant during a subsequent appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

The 49-year-old revealed he was hurt by the media's portrayal of him as "the worst, most insensitive, stupid awful guy." He declared that he would never paint Garner in such a light as he wouldn't want his kids "to think I would ever say a bad word about their mom."
