Singer Taylor Swift might be seeing “Red” when she hears this news!

Last Friday, at least 600 Taylor Swift fans reportedly had a massive party to celebrate the re-release of her recent “Red” album, dubbed “Red (Taylor’s Version).”

The event is now being called a super spreader event, as at least 100 people who attended the party have tested positive for COVID-19.

New South Wales Health Generates Public Health Alert

The event was so severe that New South Wales Health issued a public health alert, asking anyone who attended the “On Repeat: Taylor Swift Red Party” at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Friday, December 10 to “immediately get tested and isolate for 7 days.”

“It is likely some of these cases have the Omicron variant of concern,” they noted. They are also asking all household contacts of party attendees to get tested and self-isolate “until a negative test result is received by everyone in the household.”

They further warn that “Penalties for non-compliance with the isolation, testing and quarantine requirements have increased to $5,000 for individuals (from $1,000), and $10,000 for corporations (from $5,000).”

According to NBC News, the area is currently experiencing a surge in new COVID-19 cases, with a seven-day case average reaching over a thousand people on Thursday.

Taylor Swift was not in attendance for the super spreader event, but she did host a party of her own on her 32nd birthday.

On Monday, Swift revealed that she had invited her friends over for a big bash; however, she mentioned that they had tested all of the attendees at the party to make sure that they were staying safe.

As it turns out, Swift shares a birthday with Alana Haim, who also turned 30 on Monday, December 13. Swift and HAIM previously collaborated on the country song, “no body no crime” off Swift’s ninth album, “evermore.”

“*don’t say it, don’t say it OKAY I’m saying it:* I’M FEELING 32,” Swift wrote in the caption in a nod to her hit song “22.”

“Thank you all for the birthday wishes,” the singer continued. “I love you all so much.”
