Carmen Electra Swaps 'Baywatch' Swimsuit For One That's 'Better'

Carmen Electra just proved that the iconic red "Baywatch" swimsuit wasn't the best one. The 48-year-old model and actress, who starred on the hit TV series from 1997-1998 – also returning for the 2003 reunion movie – updated her Instagram today with a throwback channeling a lesser-known "Baywatch" look. Carmen was showing her 1.2 million followers that the black one-piece she wore all those years ago is her preferred one, with fans taking under 30 minutes to agree. Check it out below.

Carmen, this year in the news for her appearances on basketball documentary "The Last Dance," had posted a giant reminder of her killer body back in the day – not that it's changed with age. The Ohio native, born Tara Leigh Patrick, had been photographed kneeling on a beach towel and flaunting her stunning figure in a skintight and high-waisted black one-piece.
Carmen, backed by ocean waters and also showing off a golden tan, then took to her caption.

A caption read: "I liked the black one piece #Baywatch suit much better ? #beach #love in #malibu #memories."
Replies have been pouring in – and this girl doesn't ignore her fans. When a user asked if Carmen kept the swimsuit she'd been snapped in, she replied: "No! Hahahaha I have it framed."
The fan, challenging Electra with a bit of a joke, responded: "Lies, Carmen, lies. You've [sic] probably strutting around your mansion with it on now," also throwing out two cry-face emoji. Scroll for the audition reveal.

Carmen, who has recalled auditioning in front of David Hasselhoff as fellow bombshell Pamela Anderson left the show, has also revisited how the series changed her life, propelling her to swimsuit icon.
"When I joined the cast of Baywatch, it was already the number one show around the world. My life changed overnight. I was excited and nervous but really grateful to be part of a show that I also believe is a cult classic," she said years ago. And there was more.

Carmen has also spoken of her nervous audition and the moment she was asked to put the red bathing suit on.
"I walked into the audition and David Hasselhoff and everyone is sitting there. I’m just standing, nervously smiling, trying to do the best I can," she said, continuing:
"The next question, ‘will you go put this red swimsuit on?’ I was in shock because at the time, I was shooting with MTV and I didn’t shave my legs.”
2020 has seen Carmen all over the news for revealing her sex life with NBA star ex Dennis Rodman, after which her Pornhub searches spiked from 1,500 per day to 1.7 million.
