The investigation into the murder of rapper Young Dolph has stalled, and Federal agents say they don't have any suspects, nor have they made any arrests in the case.

According to new reports, investigators were hoping the public would bring forth possible leads in the case, based on the images released by law enforcement of the two men who pulled the trigger. Plus, Federal agents were sure they could get informants to drop information that would lead them down the right path.

Sources close to the investigation say a number of confidential informants have been interviewed regarding the shooting death of the rapper, and so far only a few new leads have been generated. Unfortunately, the conversations have not brought forth any "solid suspects" -- but law enforcement hopes it will push them in the right direction to eventually lead to the right person.

Of course, the problem is that many believe Young Dolph was mixed up in gang activity in Memphis, Tennesse -- and those who have knowledge of what happened might be less likely to speak to the police.

Memphis Police Department is also investigating the case and Sgt. Louis Brownlee says the department has received "quite a few tips" on the murder case, and officers are continuing to follow up on that information. But, at this point, the leads have not identified any solid suspects and no arrests have been made in the case.

Shockingly, in the hours following the shooting a person opened fire at fans who had gathered at the cookie shop to pay tribute to the fallen rapper. Again, the shooting was in broad daylight. In other words, this investigation is an uphill battle for officers and Federal agents.

According to reports, Dolph was back home to take part in his annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway, where he scheduled to hand out a truckload of turkeys to people in his neighborhood. At the time, his plan was to head straight to the charity event after leaving the cookie shop. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time Dolph has been the victim of such a brazen attack. Back in 2017, he was struck by multiple bullets outside a shoe store in Hollywood, requiring extensive surgery.
