Pippen made it a point to address her failed friendship with Kim during the season four premiere of “Real Housewives of Miami.”
Larsa Pippen Can Make It Without Kim Kardashian
During a confessional in the season premiere, Larsa discussed her life post-divorce from NBA ex-husband Scottie Pippen and her BFF breakup from Kim.
“People thought I wouldn’t make it without Scottie. People thought I couldn’t make it without some old friends.”
As she shared her thoughts, a photo of Larsa and the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star popped up on the screen, insinuating that Kim was the “old friend” many thought she wouldn’t make life without.
The 47-year-old continued, “I’m great. I just basically want to, like, live my best life, have fun, do whatever I want unapologetically.”
Larsa’s words in the season premiere carry quite some weight given that she recently made headlines after the public interpreted one of Kim’s Instagram posts as a shade to her.
Kim Declares That Her Sauce Can’t Be Duplicated
Earlier this month, before the eventual season premiere of “RHOM,” a trailer shared of the season showed Larsa receiving the heat from one of her castmates for trying to be a Kim Kardashian wannabe.
While having dinner with the group, the cast member can be heard yelling at Larsa, saying, “Then come back with a butt as big as Kim Kardashian’s, trying to become the new Kim Kardashian which you never gonna be.”
Coincidentally or not, shortly after the heated clip went viral, Kim posted an alluring selfie of her in a neon pink outfit with a caption that raised eyebrows. It read, “They can steal your recipe but the sauce won’t taste the same.”
It didn’t take long for netizens to cause a stir and suggest that the caption was a diss to Larsa. However, Kim quickly shut down the rumors giving a statement on her Twitter.
“No shade throwing, I don’t do subs. I want everyone to win. I just had a good caption LOL,” Kim wrote in response to a fan’s praises about her pettiness.
Kanye West Played A Role In The Friendship Breakup
Larsa and Kim were the ultimate BFFs, with the former NBA wife being a prominent guest on “KUWTK.” Larsa traveled with the rest of the family on multiple trips, and Kim was by her side when she filed for divorce from the former Chicago Bulls player.

However, things became sour between the duo in 2020 after Larsa wasn’t spotted at Kim’s birthday. The pair had unfollowed each other on social media by the next month.
While Kim hasn’t ever addressed the fallout, Larsa, in a podcast months later, blamed her former best friend’s now estranged husband Kanye West, saying he never trusted anyone who was around his wife.
There was also the issue of Larsa’s controversial romantic history with Khloe Kardashian’s baby daddy, Tristan Thompson.
