Season 6 of “The Masked Singer” has finally come to an end.
After a season full of talent from Katharine McPhee, David Foster, Faith Evans, and even Larry the Cable Guy, the final two competitors left standing were Bull and Queen of Hearts.
Although Queen of Hearts showed impressive vocal range throughout each of her performances, the Bull was a true showman, impressing his audiences with his signature dance moves and even managing to do a split in the costume during his take on Britney Spears’ “Circus.”
Although either contestant could have taken home the trophy, Queen of Hearts was selected as the winner, relegating Bull to second place. Judge Robin Thicke guessed Sisquo, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg guessed Adam Lambert, Ken Jeong guessed Taye Diggs, and Nicole Scherzinger guessed Todrick Hall.
When the unmasking was complete, host Nick Cannon unmasked Bull to prove Nicole’s guess correct.

In a post-unmasking interview with Variety, Hall admitted that he wasn’t surprised that Nicole was able to guess him correctly, saying, “We’ve been friends for a long time.”
“She’s been one of my biggest cheerleaders and one of the people that gives me so much confidence to keep pursuing things that I’m doing with my career,” he continued. “She’s incredible. She’s a master of singing live and dancing at the same time and looking fierce while doing it. It felt like a really nice safety net to be able to perform and know that she was going to have something nice to say at the end and it also helped make me step it up.”

During the finale, Hall stated that he was in awe to make it to the finale during a season that witnessed an incredible amount of celebrity singing talent.
“I can’t even express in words how shocked I was that I made it that far and to be up there with people who are legendary and Grammy Award winners — Faith Evans, Natasha Bedingfield, Toni Braxton, Katharine McPhee, David Foster,” he said, just to name a few.
“I mean, I was up there with legendary people,” he continued. “So it was just incredible and further proof that you should just believe in yourself because I come from a very small town of Plainview, Texas. The fact that I even live in LA alone is huge.”
He added, “The number one show in America, competing against people that I grew up listening to, is mind-boggling. But it’s just proof that if you work hard, you believe in yourself and you have great work ethic, anything is possible.”
Why Did Hall Perform On ‘The Masked Singer’?

Although some people take on “The Masked Singer,” just to have a good time, Hall had a specific goal in mind.
“I know that I have a very specific voice and that I am in a niche audience,” he explained. “So if you’re not a person that like loves to like go and hang out with the gays on the weekend or you’re not a big Broadway person or super huge like Disney or YouTube fan, you might not have ever heard it. That’s part of the reason so I did this show, because it was a way for me to introduce myself and my brand and my story and my message to an entirely new audience.”
Although he might not have won “The Masked Singer,” the former “American Idol” alum has definitely secured a brand new fanbase that’s excited to see what projects he’ll take part in next!
