Keanu Reeves proves once again that he’s got quite the range as an actor. Recently while promoting his new Matrix movie Keanu was asked if he knew that gamers had a thing for his video game character.
Keanu Reeves voices Johnny Silverhand in the video game Cyberpunk 2077. The character was also designed to feature Keanu’s likeness. Gamers found a way to have simulated sexual intercourse with the character. It must be said, that the character’s clothes remain on during the act.
The function has reportedly been removed from the game. This was brought to Reeve’s attention during his recent interview with The Verge. He was surprisingly cool with it! This actually sparked Keanu to go on a full rant about the money making possibilities that could stem from this.
Keanu Reeves Wasn’t Bothered By The Idea Of People Getting It On With His Character
Although Keanu Reeves is technically in Cyberpunk 2077 he mentioned that he isn’t a gamer at all. He revealed that although he’d seen demo footage of the game he’d never actually played it. When he was told though that people had found a way to hack the game to be able to get freaky with characters and that his character was the most requested his first answer was a very genuine “yes!”. Matrix co-star Carrie-Ann Moss who was in the interview with Keanu immediately mentioned that she would not be on board with people doing the cyber nasty with her potential avatar. Keanu Reeves mentioned though, “It’s always nice when it’s nice.”
Keanu’s Rant About Doing A VR Only Fans With His Character
After both the interviewer and Carrie-Ann Moss went into shock about how receptive Keanu Reeves was to the idea Keanu actually doubled down and started talking about the amount of money that was in the adult industry. Saying that essentially having an Onlyfans for his digital avatar would be an amazing passive income idea. Keanu said in the interview,
“Think of how much money is in porn, right? So you could not even have to be there and people could have digital sex with your digital avatar. What’s it called right now, For Members Only?” Keanu would go on to add, “You could do a whole thing. Oh my God, then you get the suit that’s probably made in Sweden or some German thing, then you’ve got the VR thing. Then they’ve got the data on you with your arousal metrics… ”
Getting Ready To Go Back Into The Matrix
There’s an argument to be made that with this entire VR trend we’re getting closer to creating a real Matrix. The film is set to hit theaters, and HBO Max on December 22. Keanu Reeves finally has not spoken out about how far along his virtual Onlyfans project is at this point. He did mention though that “conservative” producers from the original Matrix film from 1999 declined to feature a character that would be a woman in the Matrix and a man in reality. That actually seems like a very realistic thing to portray these days. Former NFL player Manti Teo could relate.
