Lady Gaga is continuing to rely on her former co-star, Bradley Cooper, for sound career advice.
The two took Hollywood by storm in 2018’s romance/musical, “A Star Is Born.”
Their on-screen and off-screen chemistry was so evident and intense that many people assumed there was something romantic happening behind the scenes.
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper fueled romance rumors
Both Gaga and Cooper have negated those rumors and headlines on multiple occasions, but one things is true, their tight-knit relationship is still very prevalent.
The singer recently opened up to Entertainment Weekly on their “Awardist Podcast” about taking on the role of Patrizia Reggiani Gucci in “House of Gucci.”
Gaga explained how she confided in Cooper before taking on the high-profile role.
"Bradley Cooper believed in me for the role of Ally Maine in ‘A Star Is Born.’ It was the success of our artistic collaboration that landed me where I am now," she said. "... I've confided in Bradley for years and I've always appreciated his support and his advice, his thoughts on my future endeavors."

She noted that since getting the role of Ally, she has been able to “read lots of scripts and talk to lots of different directors."
Gaga’s portrayal of Patrizia has garnered praise and backlash.
Most notably, the real Patrizia Reggiani was horrified by Gaga’s portrayal of her and lack of respect for her as a human.
Gaga famously chose NOT to speak to Reggiani when taking the role and becoming fully engulfed in the character.
Earlier this year, Reggiani spoke of her distaste for Lady Gaga.
In March, she spoke with ANSA, an Italian wire service, and served up a heaping pile of harshness for Gaga.
“I am rather annoyed at the fact Lady Gaga is playing me in the Ridley Scott film without having had the consideration and sensibility to come and meet me,” Reggiani told to outlet.
The real Patrizia Reggiani was 'annoyed' by Gaga
In response to the criticism, Lady Gaga said she only felt she could do the role and film justice if she approached it with the ‘eye of a curious woman.’
She wanted to possess a journalistic spirit in order to help her read between the lines of what was happening in the film’s scenes.
"Meaning that nobody was going to tell me who Patrizia Gucci was. Not even Patrizia Gucci." Gaga added, "I did not want anything that had an opinion that would color my thinking in any way."
Gaga explained that she went full method acting for this role.
She ditched her blonde locks, native English tongue and completely enveloped the role.
“I will be fully honest and transparent: I lived as her [Reggiani] for a year and a half. And I spoke with an accent for nine months of that,” she said.
In addition, other members of the Gucci family have slammed the film for not only Gaga’s portrayal, but other portrayals of the family as well.
Patrizia Gucci, a second cousin of Maurizio’s, told the Associated Press, “We are truly disappointed. They are stealing the identity of a family to make a profit, to increase the income of the Hollywood system… Our family has an identity, privacy. We can talk about everything, but there is a borderline that cannot be crossed.”
On the flip side, the film has garnered Oscar buzz for both Gaga and Jared Leto.
