The Sex and the City stars have made it abundantly clear that they aren’t necessarily too happy with the criticism that they’ve received for reprising the roles that they played in their 30s now in their 50s.
Sarah Jessica Parker was the first of the group to address the issue. When talk about her, sporting a more natural gray hair look sparked up some debate online. At the time she simply mentioned, “What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?” To be fair, plenty of people in Hollywood have made tons of efforts to stop aging with what we can call “mixed results”. Kristin Davis is the latest Sex and the City alum to fire back at critics who are going after her for her appearance on the new series spin off “And Just Like That …”
The Stars Of Sex and the City Didn’t Expect The High Level of Scrutiny
“Everyone wants to comment, pro or nay or whatever, on our hair and our faces and our this and our that. The level of intensity of it was a shock,”
Kristin Davis Is Fed Up With The Criticism She’s Literally Dropping F-Bombs On Critics
“I’m going to be blunt — I feel like, ‘F— you. F— you people, like, come over here and do it better.’ You know what I mean? Like, what are you doing?”
Everyone Over 40 Is In The ‘Betty White Age Group’
Besides the whole age issue Kristin Davis also called out for more diversity in Hollywood. Davis is speaking out for single moms everywhere saying that there’s not enough representation of that demographic in movies and TV. Davis is a single mom herself to two adoptive sons who are 3 and 10 years old respectively. It was clear Davis had a lot on her chest before she gave that interview!
