It's so fun to see Christmas at Magnolia," she explained. "I think the level of detail that you'll see when you see this stuff. Whether it be the wow wall with the village, all the greenery, you'll see pinks and deeper greens paired with just traditional Christmas decor. So, I feel like it's gonna feel nostalgic. It's gonna feel whimsical. It's gonna feel right."

Visitors will also enjoy stretched shopping hours on weekends and be served homemade chocolate au lait in the snow. They will also encounter Mrs. Claus in the Old Church. She will be reading Classic Christmas tales. Santa will make appearances on certain days to take pictures and fulfill wishes. The official website shared that this will go on from November 26, 2021, to December 23, 2021.

Behind The Scenes Of The Winter Wonderland

In a video shared via her blog, Gaines detailed how the market would be transformed for the holidays.

"I felt like the transformation from summer to fall was a tremendous change," Gaines explained in the video. "It was dramatic, but there's something about fall to winter that feels even more dramatic. This is one of those things that feels larger than life."

Gaines drew most of her ideas for the Winter Wonderland from her Magnolia Journal magazine. For example, she incorporated several earth tones and natural elements into the decoration.

"I think the biggest thing for me is just the idea of this nostalgic Christmas," Gaines mentioned. "We don't need to re-think the wheel here."

She initially began with sketches of what she envisioned her "magical Christmas wonderland" to be.

"Greenery is such a timeless holiday decoration, which makes it fun to incorporate in as many spaces as possible," Gaines wrote on the blog. "You'll see greenery around the entire shop, including different styles of wreaths and garlands, as well as Christmas trees, both big and small."

As she unveiled her completed project– lit faux evergreens, hanging snowflakes, and art installations– she explained that all she desired was for the market to spark joy to all who stepped foot in the store.

"I hope that everyone walks in with this childlike wonder," she noted. "That it's like, whether you're 80 or 5, you look up, you look around, and you're taken back."

Fans Cannot Wait To Explore The Magical Destination

After Gaines shared the beautiful Christmas decor on her Instagram, fans couldn't help but respond to the video. Many of her fans even expressed interest in visiting the place.

Wow. Just amazing, and you can feel the love and excitement of Christmas. Someday, I will visit. Merry Christmas from Canada," one fan replied.

"I love that you take everything to an ultimate level of perfection and beauty along with a message of heartwarming inspiration. The Silos is on my bucket list," another follower chipped.

"Exciting. Beautiful. It makes a person feel like a kid again," another fan noted.

"Thanks, Joanna and your staff, for making it magical even if I can't be there. You're on my bucket list," another Instagram follower commented.
