Famous Rapper's Brutal Murder Caught On Surveillance Video

Rapper Slim 400's brutal murder was caught on a home surveillance camera, and investigators are now using the footage to try and identify who pulled the trigger.

A video is making the rounds on social media that shows the famous rapper dragged from the front porch of a home in Los Angeles and shot several times at the point-blank range. According to reports, police in L.A. are confirming the video is in fact footage captured of the horrifying incident.

In the footage, you can see that a car pulls up to the location and a lone gunman walks up to the front of a house to confront Slim 400. The audio is unclear, but you can tell the two men exchange words and then a flash from a handgun goes off in Slim's direction. What happens next is simply brutal. The suspect appears to be dragging the rapper through the front yard and continuing to fire at point-blank range into him.

As we reported, Inglewood Police Department was called to the scene on Wednesday night around 7 pm -- after officers on a general patrol hear the gunshots and rushed to the scene. Obviously, Slim 400 was discovered in the driveway suffering from several gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital. The rapper was pronounced dead after arriving at the emergency room.

At this point, law enforcement hasn't commented on the record about the video, considering they are actively investigating the homicide. But, you can imagine they are using this clip to try and identify the person who would perpetrate such a heinous attack.

Interestingly, cops originally stated that although there is a "raging war" between the crips and blood gangs in the area. This doesn't appear to be a "targeted hit." But, after seeing the footage it is clear the person is specifically going after the famous rapper. Investigators are currently interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence in the area.

Slim 400 was a rising star in the West Coast hip-hop scene and recently released a new music video for his hit record 'Caviar Gold' in the days before the deadly shooting. The rapper was born Vincent Cohran, to military parents in Frankfurt, Germany. His family moved back to the United States and Slim lived in Compton, CA. The area was also home to legendary rappers like Dr. Dre.

Shockingly, in 2019, the rapper survived a similar incident after being shot NINE times in a drive-by shooting. At the time, the 31-year old rapper was best known for his verse on 'Bruisin with YG and Sad Boy Loko. According to reports, YG was by the rapper's side in the hospital for the entire night as he recovered from his injuries.

At this point, no one has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
