Lena Dunham is eating a slice of the "WAP" pie, and she's doing it in a "sex" swimsuit. The 34-year-old actress and producer has jumped aboard the Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion appreciation trend – the "Bodak Yellow" and "Savage" rappers are still making headlines for their sexually-charged track where title initials "WAP"" stand for "wet -ss p-ssy."

Lena decided to show off her moves ahead of the weekend and take a supportive stance towards a music video that's sparked outrage for its adult themes. Likewise, for including 23-year-old makeup mogul Kylie Jenner.

Scroll for the video from the "Girls" actress. It came with a caption mentioning Lena wanting to "celebrate the normalization of female desire!!"

Lena's video showed her in her backyard and working her curves to Cardi and "Savage" rapper Meg's beats. The brunette was also flaunting her curves in a plain white bathing suit with "sex" written on it in black. The star's trademark tattoos were also on show, with lip and face emoji thrown in for extra effect.

Jennifer Aniston may have left a like, but she wasn't alone.

A caption from Dunham read:

"You cannot listen to #WAP and not just want to shake it/celebrate the normalization of female desire!! Go off @iamcardib and @theestallion!! #QuarantineBop in my Sex suit by my beloved @christopherkane"

Lena, followed by 2.9 million on Instagram, now largely sees praise over a video that likely could've gone either way.

"NORMALIZATION OF FEMALE DESIRE 💯 drop the mic 🎤," one fan wrote.

"Bitxh yasssssssss that’s my girl go all the way awffffffff 😍😍😍😍 ilusfm," another said.

Lena joins stars including Christina Aguilera in having honored "WAP," but the controversial track has likewise sparked criticism from the celebrity world.

Right now, rapper LL Cool J is making headlines for saying: "Say what you want to say. Artists say what you want to say, make what you want to make." His comment comes amid fellow music face CeeLo Green slamming both Cardi and Stallion for "salacious gesturing," and then backtracking with an apology.

The one person refusing to apologize in the whole "WAP" drama is 27-year-old Cardi. The Fashion Nova face has defended her decision to cast Kylie Jenner in the video, where the Calabasas-based star is seen seductively parading through a hallway in a leopard-print bodysuit and boots.

Cardi defended the KarJenner presence, which also includes momager Kris Jenner making a cameo, writing: "Why did I put Kylie on my music video? She treated my sister [Hennessy] and daughter [Kulture] so lovely at her kid [Stormi's] bday party."

Kylie is now also the center of a storm by virtue of her being white, with many social media users feeling that the black empowerment theme was interrupted by Jenner's presence. "Normani did ALL this and Kylie walked down the hall and opened a door," a comment read, adding:

"If that's not a perfect visual indicator of Black women having to do the most..."
