Brad Pitt has been single for some time and it sounds like he’s ready to get back on the saddle, but has a few reservations.
The Oscar-winning actor and his estranged wife, Angelina Jolie, split in 2016.
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September of that year.
The two have been in a nasty custody battle for the last five years, and an even nastier battle over their assets.
The split between Angelina & Brad is ugly
Both Jolie and Pitt have remained noticeably single since the divorce with only a few relationship rumors here and there.
Jolie and The Weeknd sparked romance speculation this year, and Pitt has been linked to a few women, but there’s never been any confirmation to back up the rumors.
Now, a source is telling Us Weekly that the actor is slowly making his way back into the dating pool.
“He wants to find that special someone to be with long-term,” an insider exclusively revealed in the new issue of Us Weekly. “The trouble is that he hates the process and how he can’t even step out for a friendly coffee without it being gossiped about.”
Brad Pitt is open to dating again
Pitt is also hyper-focused on his “family, charities and work,” the source also revealed.
While many fans wish Pitt would get back together with his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, it appears she is wanting to date someone outside of “the biz.”
Earlier this year, Aniston revealed she is also ready to date and fall in love, but would prefer if it was someone who had no hands in the entertainment industry.
She was married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2017.
Jen is looking to date someone outside of the industry
In between marriages she was romantically involved with Vince Vaughn and John Mayer.
In an interview with People (The TV Show!) Aniston explained her new dating plan of action.
When asked by the show’s host, Kay Adams, whether or not she believes a relationship between public figures and non-public figures could work, the actress replied, “Of course.”
"Absolutely. I mean, it's happened. That's what I'm sort of hoping for is not necessarily somebody in the industry itself,” she noted. “That’d be nice.”
Pitt and Aniston sent hearts racing in 2020 with multiple public displays of affection.
The exes publicly fawned over one another at the 2019 SAG Awards and were pictured embracing backstage after Aniston won the SAG for “Best Female Actor in a Drama Series” for her role in “The Morning Show.”
Pitt also took home a SAG for his role in “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.”
The two reunited virtually for the “Fast Times At Ridgemont Time” table read in which the two had some adorable banter.
The actor joined the Zoom call and said, “Hi everyone. Hi Aniston.”
To which she replied, “Hi Pitt.”
Pitt then continued to have a conversation with JUST her and none of the other nine people on the call.
