The mother-of-two shared new details about the break-in with the show's hosts Jada Pinkett Smith, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and daughter Willow Smith.

Bullock was dubbed "America's Sweetheart" for her kind and loving nature, but one dreadful night in 2014 left the beloved entertainer with painful memories.

The 57-year-old actress was home alone when an intruder broke into her residence. Terrified for her life, the "Miss Congeniality" star took shelter in her bedroom's closet.

At the time, the Hollywood heartthrob could barely process her thoughts as she feared the worst would happen. However, the "Gravity" actress managed to call the authorities for help.

This unforgettable night left the mother-of-two with a lingering sense of dread as her son, Louis, whom the Oscar winner welcomed through adoption, could have been home.

Fortunately, the "Bird Box" star's late-night plans prompted the nanny to take the boy to her apartment. Recalling the stroke of luck, Bullock said:

"Had he been home, I would've run to the closet, which is now my official closet, but that was his bedroom, and it would have changed our destiny forever."

The Golden Globe Award winner has never been the same after the incident. The violation of her privacy and endangerment of her child left the actress completely unraveled that she could no longer stay alone.

The pair's romance was still budding when Bullock adopted her daughter Laila; however, Randall rose to the occasion and proved himself as a worthy father to his lover's children.

"The Proposal" actress praised the 55-year-old's parenting skills and stated he was the "right human being" for the job. In her words:

"He's the example I would want my children to have. I don't always agree with him, and he doesn't always agree with me, but he is an example even when I don't agree with him."

It is lovely to know that the Fortis Films founder has a loving man by her side, especially after her past relationships. The Blast previously revealed the 57-year-old dated Jennifer Aniston's ex-boyfriend.
