Kelly Osbourne Calls Out The Media Over 'Fat Shaming'

Kelly Osbourne is not tolerating any unsolicited comments about her body from the press!

The daughter of the iconic "Prince of Darkness," Ozzy Osbourne inherited her father's confidence as she has never shied away from speaking her mind. 

The 37-year-old recently fired back at a tabloid for 'fat shaming' her on Instagram after receiving an email from the outlet.

On November 30, the former "Fashion Police" co-host shared a screenshot of an email from the outlet on her Instagram stories. 

The tabloid asked the TV personality to comment on their upcoming story, which insensitively stated that she had gained a "tremendous amount of weight."

The news outlet claimed that sources informed them that the "So Undercover" star's weight was caused by stress eating due to her recent relapse. 

The alleged email also claimed that doctors believed Osbourne's weight gain made her vulnerable to coronavirus. The concluding part of the message contained the contact information of the tabloid's editor-in-chief, Dan Dolan.

Although the news outlet wanted the entertainer to comment on their story, "The Osbournes" star responded epically by writing:

"This is what I have to deal with on a daily basis. Feel free to email Dan and tell him what you think about them fat shaming me."

The Blast previously reported that the "Project Runway Junior" judge was receiving treatment at a rehabilitation facility after achieving nearly four years of sobriety.

The TV personality has struggled with alcohol addiction for a good portion of her life, but like the mythical Phoenix, the 37-year-old keeps rising from the ashes.

The "Masked Singer" star got emotional about her relapse with fans on social media and revealed she was on the road to recovery after one glass of champagne reignited her old habits.

True to her word, Osbourne celebrated 5 months of sobriety on her 37th birthday in October. The birthday girl marked the milestone on Instagram with a sweet post.

"The 7D" star shared a picture of herself posing with a birthday cake while her signature purple hair styled into a bun. The post was captioned with a purple heart emoji and the words:

"Today marks my 37th birthday and I’m 5 months sober!!! I am filled with so much gratitude it’s almost overwhelming!"

Alas, one glass turned into several bottles, and the TV personality realized she was in a bad place after ending up "shitfaced" on her boyfriend's couch. This was the moment the 37-year-old decided to be sober again.
