Those words were famously sung during the intro. of the hit ‘80s sitcom “The Golden Girls.”

“The Golden Girls” aired on NBC from 1985-1992 and was very progressive for its time.

The timeless comedy which starred Betty White, Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan, and Estelle Getty, will be brought back to life in the biggest way possible.

The ladies of Miami will be getting their very own fan convention. The FIRST of its kind!

I for one am BEYOND excited!

The 2022 convention will be called “Golden-Con” and will go down April 22 through April 24.

Golden-Con will take place in Chicago, IL in the city’s Northalsted district where the LGBTQ+ community facility Center on Halsted will host a series of events.

The events include but are not limited to, a vendor’s market, live parody shows, a costume parade, and trivia. There will also be a Rust Anchor pop-up bar.

Event organizers promise to have appearances by “guest stars, producers, and others directly connected to the show.”

The only living core cast member is Betty White, who will turn 100 in January.

It’s unclear if the bell of the golden ball will make an appearance.

“Betty White” was trending on Twitter on Tuesday, November 30, which sent the internet into a full-on meltdown.

Before you panic, Betty is alive and well.

It’s just that every few months, her name trends on the social media platform to, I guess, keep everyone on their toes!

Last August, the iconic ‘Golden Girls’ home sold for $4 million, according to Douglas Elliman Real Estate.

The home which is located in Miami in the show is actually based in Brentwood, CA.

The home was made famous in outdoor shots for the sitcom, it served as the façade of the home.
