How The "Wolverine" Star Met Deborra-Lee Furness

Jackman and his wife got married in 1996, and their love has withstood the test of time. The Blast shared how the couple was first introduced.

Following the success of Furness' 1988 movie "Shame,"—which earned her the Best Actor award from Australia's Film Critics Choice and Golden Space Needle—she left for Hollywood.

Unfortunately, the actress's career did not take flight in the City of Angels. So, she met with a fortune-teller who advised her to return to Australia, where everything would fall into place.

Furness detailed this experience in her appearance on Apple's Aussies in Hollywood podcast. She took the fortune teller's advice and returned home.

Jackman revealed the news on social media with a post-biopsy picture of himself sporting a band-aid on his nose. He wrote that doctors believe he is fine, but fans are worried about possible skin cancer.

The "X-Men" star later updated his fans via Instagram that his biopsy results came back inconclusive. Medical authorities say that the worst-case scenario is Basel Cell Carcinoma (BCC).
