NFTs continue to be popular investments for celebrities, and also fans of them. Buyers are able to get exclusive content, such as paintings, music, and more.
One of the biggest NFT investments lately, has been the “Bored Ape Yacht Club”. Celebrities such as Post Malone, Steph Curry, Lil Baby, and more, have since been Bored Ape purchases. Now, they just locked in another huge rapper to the club.
Future Makes Whopping ‘Bored Ape’ Purchase
The official NFT Instagram feed, announced on Sunday, that Future made a purchase for a Bored Ape for $200,000. This image displays an ape wearing a captain sailor hat, as well as a red robe. This Bored Ape NFT is labeled as $4672.
“Future is the latest high profile celebrity to join the Bored Ape Yacht club, following Post Malone joining the club last week. Future purchased Bored Ape # 4672 and set it as his PFP later tweeting a picture of it with “gm.”

Over 10,000 Bored Ape NFTs Exist
Bored Ape NFTs continue to build huge momentum, as they’re being drawn to even more star-studded names. Online, over 10,000 Bored Apes exist, and thousands more will likely be purchased.

Future Scored Another Number Song, In 2021
Future has been relatively quiet, for his own music releases, this year. He did appear on Drake’s new “Certified Lover Boy” album, in September, though. This was on the “Way 2 Sexy” song, which also included Young Thug. It wasn’t initially a lead single, but was so huge, that it went on to debut at number one, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Way 2 Sexy is also already certified gold.
Future was very consistent in 2020, as he released two albums. One was “High Off Life,” which became his eighth consecutive number one album. At the end of the year, he collaborated with Lil Uzi Vert, on the “Pluto x Baby Pluto” album, which debuted at number two.
Future Split With Lori Harvey Last Year
Future was also known for dating Lori Harvey, from late 2019, to mid-2020. The two quietly broke things off at the end of that summer, but Future decided to throw some shade, this year. In May, he subliminally dissed Lori, on 42 Dugg’s “Maybach” single, where he said “Tell Steve Harvey, I don’t want her.” Steve is Lori’s father. Currently, Lori is dating star actor, Michael B. Jordan, and has been with him, for over a year now. The two also recently spent Thanksgiving with him, as Lori posted various photos and videos of the two, together.
