"The Bachelorette" is an American reality show which centers on a chosen bachelorette who dates a pool of men for a few weeks before picking a winner she would like to marry.
In every new installment, the Bachelorette interacts with the contesting men one-on-one or in a group, and it helps her form an opinion about them. With each Rose Ceremony, she sends one contestant home, and the list dwindles till the end.
Over the years, the show has produced some engagements, one of which was Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark. Fans were rooting for the pair to get married, but things are not going that way now. News recently spread that they had allegedly broken up after one year of engagement. Here are all details about how it happened.
Tayshia Adams And Zac Clark Are Allegedly Ending Their Romance
A series of events led to fans concluding that Adams and Clark were no longer into each other. First off, Adams appeared without her engagement ring for consecutive episodes of her podcast "Bachelor Happy Hour." Again, she was without it at the Los Angeles premiere of Lady Gaga's "House of Gucci" on November 18.
Following the multiple sightings, a source revealed to Life&Style that the pair were staying apart after some undisclosed issues. "They are definitely taking some time apart to figure things out," the source disclosed. "It doesn't look good."
The nail in the coffin came after Adams and Clark ran the recent New York City Marathon. She barely mentioned her counterpart while talking about the race in a post on her Instagram account.
"Again, I want to say thank you to each and every one of you that cheered me along the way," Tayshia wrote. "For my best friend James, who flew out to be by my side and helped see my final miles through. And for Z, for running with me every step of the way."
The post scantily addressed her fiancé, as seen by the shortened name format. It all but confirmed to fans that there was trouble in paradise.
When Did The Duo Get Engaged?
Season 16 of "The Bachelorette" came with a twist when the appointed female lead Clare Crawley left the show midway after declaring contestant Dale Moss was her "special one." Adams came in as her replacement following her appearance in the parent series "The Bachelor."
In the weeks before the season finale, a pool of male contestants got eliminated. Adams then accepted finalist Zac Clark's proposal after shockingly ditching his contender Ivan Hall. Subsequently, they left the show as one of the fans' favorite couples.
Although the pair were in love, they did not rush the wedding, stating they had not gotten to that phase in their relationship. They continued packing the PDA at different physical locations and on social media.
From the recent news, it seems fans might not get to see them walk down the aisle. Alongside reports that Adams abandoned her engagement ring, she untagged Clark from her Instagram photos.
Adams And Clark's Fans Are Devastated Over Their Alleged Split
Although fans have not confirmed if the pair have broken up, they opined that the possibility of it happening was heartbreaking.
One shipper said, "I'm way too invested in them, I cried a lot during his proposal, and they seem so perfect. Hope they work it out!" while another Twitter user commented, "Hate to see this. We all live in the fairy tale of happily ever after, but that is becoming more and more illusory."
"Hoping they're just feeling things out, I know lots of people who went on breaks cause they were struggling then came back together, and that would be great cause I could believe in love again," commented another fan.
Ultimately many fans are hoping their time apart is temporary and that the pair would come back stronger and better.
Adams And Clark's Career
Following their involvement in the dating reality series, the pair went on to further their respective careers. Adams has followed a path as a brand influencer and frequently shares adverts on her social media accounts for big companies like Hyundai and Conair, the haircare brand.
