Jojo Siwa Opts For New Look From Her Signature Pony For AMAs Debut

Jojo Siwa looked super amazing with a bold new look for the 2021 AMAs!

The singer-dancer made her debut at the annual award ceremony without her signature ponytail and bow. Regardless, the 18-year-old killed the red carpet with her glamorous outfit.

The "Boomerang" singer shared pictures of her daring look on Instagram, and fans couldn't help but love this new version of the famous teenager.

On Sunday, November 21, Siwa attended the AMA's with a novel look that got the paparazzi begging for more on the Microsoft Theatre red carpet.

The "Kid In A Candy Store" artist uploaded two photos from the carpet that captured her with curly waves bound in a half-pony hairstyle.

The blonde songbird ditched her usual colorful appearance for a more mature outfit: a black gown designed with a long sheer tulle skirt and a sweetheart-cut neckline.

The Nickelodeon star looked breathtaking as she flaunted numerous ear piercings while rocking a sparkly silver under-eye liner.

The chic look was complemented with two silver necklaces, bold pink lipstick, and high heels. This heartwarming post was partly captioned, "My first @amas."

The gay icon also graced the AMA's stage to present an award to BTS, the famous K-pop group. The "Dance Moms'' alum shared a behind-the-scenes image with the boy-band with a caption that read: 

"7 legends @bts.bighitofficial @amas"

Naturally, both Instagram posts were highly supported by fans, who flooded the comment section with their love for the teenager. 

Last month, The Blast shared that the YouTube star had broken off her romance with Kylie Prew after nine months together.

Although the "Its JoJo Siwa" star was heartbroken about the split, the "Razzle Dazzle Babysitters" author was able to move on with the help of Jenna Johnson, her "DWTS" partner. 

According to the pop icon, the 27-year-old dancer has been like a big sister to her. The "Bop!" singer stated that Johnson taught her to find happiness within herself.

The newfound friends made history by becoming the first same-sex partners to grace the ballroom on the celebrity dance show "DWTS."

On the topic of breaking the show's typical boundaries, the 18-year-old confessed that it was a unique opportunity to show the world that people could love and dance with whomever they wanted. 

"The J Team" star's relationship might have ended; however, The Blast reported that the old flames were still burning.

During an interview on Paris Hilton's "This is Paris podcast," the Nickelodeon actress revealed that she and Prew were still best friends.

There was no bad blood between the former couple, as Siwa admitted that their separation hadn't stopped the pair from experiencing the best time of their lives.

The LGBTQ+ star continues to push forward with her career, and given the singer's outstanding AMA debut, it is safe to say that the teenager is going places.
