The hip-hop culture has lost one of its bright minds and slick rappers, but for what it's worth, they'll continue to remember him through the impact he made in the industry and on the world as a whole.
It's no news that Dolph was in his prime at the time of his death, and though many might not know him, the ones who do, know that he was a hard worker and self-sufficient. Speaking of self-sufficiency, how much money did the young rapper amass during his time on earth?
Young Dolph's Net Worth
Born Adolph Thornton Jr, Young Dolph garnered fame as an independent artiste, steering clear of big music firms that could have given him millions for his signature.
Bravely, he started his label, Paper Route Empire, where he dropped all his albums and scored plenty of mainstream success. A couple of the albums attained the top 25 of the Billboard charts, and his last single, "Rich Slave," peaked at number four on the Billboard 200.
His talent and grit earned him collaborations with other rappers, including Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, Wiz Khalifa, and Young Thug. Additionally, he collaborated with his cousin and fellow rapper Key Glock on his "Dum and Dummer" albums.
Before his death, Young had made enough money from his tracks to maintain his usual charity and giving works. As per Celebrity Net Worth, the rapper was worth $3 million. When he passed, he was 36 years old and still had a lot to give to the hip-hop game.

Yough Dolph Faced Death Threats Severally Before His Demise
Young Dolph's money could have gotten him extensive security. However, he remained vulnerable to attack from many who wanted his death. In 2017, an assault from armed men tore his SUV apart with bullets.
The artiste escaped unscathed and got inspired to release the album "Bulletproof," which had taunting lyrics to the shooters. After a few months, he was fatally shot during a fight outside a Hollywood hotel.
At that time, he got admitted and took a while to recover. He then returned to the music scene again, filming a music video, "Believe Me." It contained news footage of the incident and clips from inside the hospital.
Unfortunately, the third time was the charm for his killers. Young Dolph is survived by two children with his partner, Mia Jaye.

Not many rappers are known for their kind-heartedness, as the rap game tends to toughen up its members. However, Young Dolph was a different breed altogether.
