Rapper Ice-Tis reacting to the violent death of Young Dolph, saying that working in the rap industry is now more dangerous than dealing drugs.

The 'Law & Order: SUV'star revealed the dark reality on Twitter claiming that over the years, a shift has happened for what is considered the most "dangerous occupation." The legendary rapper is clear, he believes it is now being a rapper!

"ICE COLD Fact: When I was coming up...Being a Drug Dealer was the most dangerous occupation. Now it seems like being a Rapper is… smh No cap,” Ice-T tweeted.

Interestingly, in a separate post, the rapper turned television star shared an old video of Lil' Boosie expressing his outrage at the violence problems in the rap community. Specifically, Boosie Badazz claims "most rappers die in their own city." The Louisana native explains, "It’s a fact. And uh, you know, you have haters who were in school with you, and they mad cause they was in that third grade with you, but they don't have that same hustle as you. You know they hate you for no reason. They hate you for your success."

As we reported, Young Dolph was gunned down and murdered in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. The young rapper was shopping in a local fresh-baked cookie store, before heading to a turkey give-away that he sponsored in town. The shooters brazenly walked up to him in broad daylight and fired.

Several fans responded to Ice-T's statement on Twitter, with one saying, "I am still in shock and very angry about what happened. It was a senseless act of violence." Another added, "My former hometown of Memphis took one of the good guys today, a man that was giving back to his community. RIP Dolph."

At this point, the shooting is still under investigation, and it doesn't appear the Memphis Police Department has any suspects. Investigators did release images of the shooters, who were caught on surveillance cameras exiting their two-door white Mercedes Benz and opening fire on the rapper. Plus, images of their faces were given to the media to circulate.

As we reported, Young Dolph's wife broke her silence on the tragic shooting, thanking friends and fans for the support through this tough time. "Thank you to everyone for all of your prayers, love, support, calls, and messages," her message began.

She continued, "I may not see them all but when my eyes are not full of tears, I catch a few…Nonetheless, all the genuine positive vibes, energy, and prayers are welcome…because Lord knows I need them."

In a stunning turn of events, another man was shot while standing in front of the exact location of Dolph's death, which was turned into a memorial for the rapper. After the shooting, three men were arrested for the incident -- but, it points at the ongoing violence in the area.
