Jake Gyllenhal Is Back In The Spotlight, Thanks To Taylor
Gyllenhaal became a social media trend after the comment area of his most recent Instagram photo drew the audience’s attention. Some commenters even suggested that if anyone is having a bad day, the comments on his most recent post would surely cheer them up.
Swift’s debut album, “Red,” was released in 2012, and the Swifties loved the album, especially the song titled “All Too Well,” which was featured on the album.
In recent months, fans renewed interest in the song due to its supposed connection to Gyllenhaal. The two supposedly dated in late 2010, yet neither of them publicly addressed the romance in the media.
Swift didn’t mention Gyllenhaal specifically when she promoted the song; however, fans had some thoughts. But in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she admitted that she was in a better emotional place.
“It’s perfect to be able to release this record without feeling depressed; it’s a lot better this way,” the “Shake It Off” crooner revealed.
The Brooke Gyllenhaal Cruise
In less than 24 hours, the extended version of the song garnered over 21 million views on Swift’s youtube channel. Her words in a verse from “All Too Well” got a lot of attention.
It read, “I stepped through the door with you, the air was frigid, but something about it seemed like home somehow. So I left my scarf there at your sister’s house, and you’ve still got it in your drawer, even now.”
The scarf became a reference point for her fans and followers, as they made hilarious comments about it. Fans weren’t the only ones having a field day with the trend. Most significantly, Brooke, a teenage TikTok user, recently went to the video-sharing platform to make a joke about the “All Too Well,” verse.
Brooke posted a reel of watching the music video for the song. She captioned the photo, “relax guys, I’ll tell him to return the scarf,” clearly playing on the fact that she shares a similar surname with the famous actor.
So, Are They Related?
Although they share a last name, there is no evidence to prove that Brooke is related to Gyllenhaal.
Fans were only super curious since she blew up after the trend. Some even bought into the idea that she was his long-lost cousin.
Brooke, on the other hand, has a sporting background. She began playing lacrosse in the second grade and used to be an attacker, but since joining HHH lacrosse, she switched to defense.
The TikToker is a student at Chestnut Hill Academy. Plus, she had not shared any photos of herself with any member of the Gyllenhaal family. Many of Gyllenhaal’s family are either in the military or into entertainment.
