Singer Taylor Swift has yet another surprise for her fans!
The “cardigan” singer headed to Long Pond Studios to record another version of the fan-favorite song “All Too Well.”
Although the initial song was five minutes and twenty-eight seconds long on the original “Red” album, Swift had frequently mentioned over the years that the song was originally supposed to be over ten minutes long.
Fans finally got to hear the full version of the song when the “Red (Taylor’s Version)” was released on Friday, November 12. The song was turned into a short film that starred Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien. Swift, who wrote and directed the short, also makes an appearance in the film as well.

Swift headed up to Long Pond Studios, which is where she recorded her 2020 documentary concert film, “Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions” in 2020. The film, which was also directed and produced by Swift, was available for fans to stream on Disney+ last November.
The film featured an acoustic version of all the songs off Swift’s eighth studio album, “folklore,” and featured collaborations with Justin Vernon, Jack Antonoff, and Aaron Dessner.
In an Instagram post on November 17, Swift teased a new version of “All Too Well,” titled “All Too Well (Sad Girl Autumn Version).”
Revealing another collaboration with Dessner and Jonathan Low, Swift teased the track by writing, “One of the saddest songs I’ve ever written just got sadder” next to an upside-down smiley face emojis. “Drove up to Long Pond Studios to record All Too Well (Sad Girl Autumn Version) with the besties @aarondessner @heyjonlow.”

“I have always hoped for a version of All Too Well like this!” one fan wrote.

“She is one of the greatest songwriters of all time,” another added. “Also every time she does great versions of songs so nobody could get bored of them. You Taylor Swift are making our lives better.”
“She might as well make an album filled with different versions of “All Too Well” at this point (and I’d buy it),” another fan joked.
Another fan wrote, “All Too Well just keeps getting better and better, and this version is incredible, truly shows you how she can make a song which we have grown to associate with screaming at the bridge part, into a beautiful, peaceful masterpiece.”
Although Swift is given a chance to prove they know the lyrics to the song all too well, fans can’t wait to see what other surprises Swift has in store for the rest of the songs on her latest album.
