Singer Pink Praises Husband Carey Hart For Support Through Hip Surgery Recovery

Pink is sharing her post-hip surgery status, and the renowned singer has nothing but the highest praises for her adoring husband, Carey Hart.

Alecia Beth Moore, best known by her stage name 'Pink,' is one of the trendsetters in the music industry with various accolades under her name.

The pop star has never shied away from sharing her intimate moments with the world, and the "Try" singer recently opened up about her surgery on Instagram.

On November 17, Pink shared an emotional post on Instagram detailing the rollercoaster experience she had during her hip surgery recovery phase.

The "Just Give Me A Reason" artist uploaded a selfie that captured the 42-year-old looking weary as she posed for the camera.

Although the three-time Grammy winner appeared exhausted, the mother-of-two managed to give fans a bright smile. The reason behind her fatigue was highlighted in the post's lengthy caption that started with: 

"Hey world! This is what 9 hours of sleep and cuddles from my kiddos looks like 7 days post hip surgery!! I have to say thank you to everyone at The Steadman Clinic in Vail and Dr. Philippon for taking such good care of me."

The "Pink: All I Know So Far" star revealed that being married to a former athlete gave her the privilege of meeting talented doctors. However, these caregivers weren't the only ones responsible for the singer's recovery. 

The mother-of-two admitted that the first-week post-surgery was a "brutal" experience filled with fevers, tears, ulcers, and depression caused by pain medications.

Hart's comforting gestures soothed this awful period of healing. Describing the former motorcycle racer's actions, the punk star partly wrote: 

"He brought me coffee in the shower, lugged around my 100 pound CPM contraptions everywhere I went, dried my tears, cooked me oatmeal, kept track of my meds, got me my phone charger, plugged in my compression machines…"

The founder of Hart & Huntington Tattoo & Clothing Company also took his wife's temperature, arranged the bed, and ensured the singer's mind was free of depressing thoughts.

Last month, The Blast reported that the "Thanks For Sharing" star lost her father, Jim Moore, after a difficult battle with prostate cancer. 

The late veteran soldier was honored by his daughter with a heartwarming post on what would have been his 76th birthday.

The beautiful nightingale shared a picture of her father's grave, adorned with unique grave markers — a USA flag alongside a metal piece containing Jim's details.

In front of these markers were two black doughnuts holding a lit candle. Pink channeled her inner songwriter into composing a lengthy caption that had the musician's undying love and regrets for her father's passing.

The two-time Brit Awards winner explained that the late soldier was more than her father and her closet confidant. The mother-of-two stated that only the Father-Daughter duo could understand the inner workings of their mind.

Losing her father was similar to the "So What" singer losing a part of herself. However, the 42-year-old survived with the help of her loving family.
