Kanye Also Released 'Donda' Deluxe Edition

With Kanye stunning social media right now, with news of his Drake beef finally ending, he has also been trending for his music. Over the past week, he'd been teasing the possibility of a deluxe edition, for his latest chart-topping "Donda" album, being on the way. The original Donda went on to debut at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart, and was Ye's 10th consecutive number one album.

This ended up being a reality, as on Sunday night, Ye put out five new songs. This included appearances from Conway The Machine, Westside Gunn, Kid Cudi, and also Andre 3000, on "Life Of The Party." Drake was actually the one who leaked this song, as it was meant to be a diss record towards Drake, so that was an interesting move, to troll Ye.

Drake Released His Album, A Week After Kanye

Shortly after Kanye's success with his "Donda" album, Drake went on to put out his highly anticipated sixth studio album, "Certified Lover Boy," a week later. That release came after a nine-month delay, and it exceeded fans' expectations. It debuted at number one as well, and was Drake's sixth consecutive number one album. It is already platinum, and contained appearances from Jay Z, Travis Scott, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, and more. CLB also had the number one song in the US, in "Way 2 Sexy," featuring Future and Young Thug.

Drake has been very consistent in 2021, as in March, he also released his "Scary Hours 2" EP. That project contained three songs, with appearances from Lil Baby and Rick Ross. All three songs went on to simultaneously debut, in the top three, of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
