DaBaby had previously been dating R&B star, DaniLeigh. The two had seemed very happy with one another until they split earlier this year, and Dani found out that she was pregnant.
It wasn’t immediately confirmed that the Charlotte rapper was the father of Dani’s child, but various posts being “liked” on Instagram hinted in that direction. Their child ended up being born in August. Now, after appearing to have a successful reconciliation, things are going downhill again, in a very concerning manner.

DaBaby And DaniLeigh Argue On Instagram Live
DaniLeigh was feeding their newborn child when DaBaby decided to put the two on Instagram Live. It appeared that Dani wasn’t feeling this at all, and the situation soon escalated into an argument, in front of thousands of viewers. In the live feed, Dani was seen calling DaBaby a “f***ng coward” and constantly kept telling him “f**k you.” Dani soon attempted to lunge at his phone, in an attempt to end the live stream.

DaBaby Kicked Out DaniLeigh, While On IG Live
DaBaby soon decided to take things further, by getting DaniLeigh. getting kicked out of his home. Dani ended up going on IG live herself, where she showed off officers, showing up to the property. She also explained that she didn’t have anywhere else to stay, in Los Angeles, at that time. She claimed that the rapper was also the one who requested police to step into this situation.
DaBaby Put Out A Statement On Instagram
For DaBaby, he wanted to clear his name from this situation, following the heated argument with DaniLeigh, on Instagram. In his IG stories, he released a lengthy statement, where he documented everything for his “safety,” and also for him as a businessman. This all comes ahead of his upcoming “Live Show Killa Tour,” with Rolling Loud, later this month.
“I would like to swiftly remove myself from any of the “hostile” behavior put on display moments ago, this here thing has gone far enough for shawty to crash out on her own and it saddens me because I still got a queen to raise. This last hour has been documented for my safety and business done based on my reputation. With multiple threats of setting up a internet scheme & a person refusing to not let me go me and somebody else here knew to record her. I done been beat on and yelled at and chased around like one [of] them fatal love attraction type girls. But I knew to keep it together … End of the day no big deal I don’t want no charges pressed or nothing I just want her peacefully removed.”
