Busy Philipps is sharing her thoughts on Chris Pratt's controversial and headline-making tribute to his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Earlier this month, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star paid tribute to his beloved wife to celebrate her upcoming birthday, but it wasn't well-received by fans.

The actor came under serious fire from fans who accused him of subtly shading his ex-wife Anna Faris and their son, Jack, who faced some health issues early on in his life.

While most of the internet was focused on how Pratt's tribute reflected on Faris, Philipps seems to have viewed the issue from a different angle and is sharing why she feels uncomfortable with the post.

On the November 9 episode of her podcast, "Busy Philipps Is Doing Her Best," the "Cougar Town" actress said she was not a fan of Pratt's comments. However, she revealed that she was friends with Pratt when he was still with Faris, and they often went on vacations together.

Philipps noted that she knew the "Jurassic Park" star to an extent and described him as "super nice and funny." However, she said that he often drank a lot whenever they hung out. Then addressing the controversial post, she said:

Holy s---. Either like you're the dumbest mothef---er on Earth, or you're a real righteous a--hole.

She then described the tribute as "so f--king weird" and noted that she didn't understand what it meant. Then, talking to her listeners, Philipps compared Pratt's post to "a tired gender joke" about how women do all the work, and the man just relaxes, doing the bare minimum.

The 42-year-old, however, explained that wasn't the reality of Pratt's life, saying, "You are a Marvel superhero. You made $480 million last year. You work non-stop. You don't just open a f---ing jar of pickles, you motherf---er ... I hate it so much."

Philipps noted that Pratt's post was an example of men "patronizing" their wives. She also referenced his remark where he called Schwarzenegger his "greatest treasure," saying that the actor sees his wife as one of his possessions.

Chris Pratt Felt 'Crappy' About The Backlash

In the lengthy tribute Pratt posted for his wife, he wrote that Schwarzenegger has "given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter," causing a stir on the internet.

Many fans believed Pratt's remark about a healthy daughter was to spite Faris, and the internet blasted him for being mean, showing their support for "Scary Movie" actress.

Although the "Passengers" star didn't directly respond to the backlash, in a cryptic post, he shared that he woke up feeling "crappy" the day after the social media uproar after an "upset" and "depressed" night.
