Steph and Ayesha Curry are leading the way with the quarantine workouts. The NBA player and his cookbook queen wife took to social media via 30-year-old Ayesha’s Instagram on Wednesday – the power couple didn’t mention the novel coronavirus by name, but with the home feel and the couple’s recent fundraiser to feed 1 million Americans, it was clear that COVID-19 was getting referenced.
You’ll need to do a bit of swiping to see the before and after – as Ayesha wrote in her caption, it was one of those “Instagram Vs Reality” posts.
The post opened up with a video of Ayesha filming herself and husband Steph in the gym. The Golden State Warriors player was flaunting his ripped torso in a pair of black sports shorts – the before video was, however, seeing Steph relaxed and opting out of a muscle-flaunting pose as he threw the camera a hand move.
Ayesha, meanwhile, was resting her foot against a workout bench, appearing in a black pair of leggings and a sports bra as she filmed the pair.
Anyone swiping to the right then saw the couple in a far more Instagrammable setting. Here, Ayesha was striking the platform’s much-adored gym selfie pose as she sat on the bench, better showcasing her flat stomach and toned shouders in a black and sheer-paneled spandex pair of leggings – a cream stripe on the lowers matched details on a matching sports bra.
Steph was barely visible in this image, although the profile shot of the six-time NBA All Star player showed him standing and appearing busy.
The second snap had included the couple’s family – well, two our of three of the kids. With their girls seen on the treadmill and using workout equipment, the vibe definitely showed the much-loved couple for the family goals that they are.
A caption explained more.
“Instagram vs reality. Couples workout session into family workout session. I could dig it. We counted it as PE today in between math and reading… and timeouts. ???,” Ayesha wrote.
The post currently sits at over 366,000 likes.
Comments came in fast for this one, with some fans taking the time to thank the couple for their generous efforts with Eat.Learn.Play.Foundation for Feeding America.
Then again, comments came over the semi-gut moment from Steph in the video.
“Steph better get out of your cook book ??? ?,” one fan wrote.
Others, meanwhile, mentioned the kids: “Your daughter does more workout than me ?,” one fan wrote.
“Real talk, I’m not sure who be thinking this….but cant none tell me you not fine as hell….sheesh Mrs Curry you a bad one….Steph you the goat on and off the court!” was another comment.
Ayesha has 7.2 million Instagram followers.
